it doesn't seem to post any issue.  Frankly, haven't driven much, only 160km  cool2.gif

thanks bro. sorry i got your username wrong. please highlight later on the extent of dirtied rims, if you may, as you travel much later.

I wish I could be Bill Gates,,,,..... but alas, turn oooout to be a poor man...  blink.gif  what to do? Life is tough. can only afford a Inspira.  But I guess even if I am rich, I won't buy a Lancer today.  Enough said.  blush.gif

Tested 1.8 cvt during weekend. I can say that for normal driving it is smooth & hardly hear engine sound. Its comfortable & relaxing drive. Dashboard looks better than in the pictures.I would be super happy if i were to buy it.

Saw the Inspira on the road yesterday, the seats still covered in plastic and the family driving it was extremely proud! Funny thing was that they drove by loads of supercars and it caught everyone's attention instead!  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif  rclxms.gif

people happened to just drive by some people and the new car automatically attract people to stare does not mean the owner trying to show off, besides the owner is not doing it on purpose, not sure why you felt that way?

some ppl might don want to take out plastic cover because its a new car and dont want to make it dirty...

but actually the plastic is quite poisonous.. if u sit in the car without opening the window, it might affect ur health.

Yeah, agreed, plastic that use to wrap item, is the balance of crude oil extracted, when expose to heat, it will release dangerous fume, what's more in confine space.

if you really open a thread to ask for opinion for improvement, i'm sure you can have some great ideas. But are you the decision maker that can make use of the ideas given?

This is a quote from Sugizo36881, which is perfectly what im trying to imply. When Proton rebadge cars, we complaint. When Waja and Gen2 first came out, it wasnt good, but then it wasnt bad either. Every company have their own learning experience to go through before they can come out with really good cars, Ferrari and Lambo nonetheless. Therefore we have to give our support to Proton too. The 90k range of cars is not going to be a real volume seller in Malaysia. Proton have learnt their lesson after developing the Waja, therefore they are making a good economic decision although it might not be the best decision for public relation and their image, its a good decision for future volume seller models. Proton is coming up with their next gen global seller, Persona R, and its fully a groundup development from Proton. We shall judge whether Proton is taking us seriously then.

QUOTE(sugizo36881 @ Nov 15 2010, 10:50 AM)
Is ok for those ppl to bashing around,  but before they said anything, do they have a good point of view? or just simply said proton is copying instead of re-badge in the sense even proton officially corporate with mitsu again, and your conclusion always ask proton just close down the company because proton always being bash copying the lancer, if so the proton just close down and remove the excise duty tax because of this matter, then it will greatly affect Malaysia economic  then  in the future you will have more hole on the road

of course lancer interior quality is not better than civic or altis, cause if i want to buy a lancer at about rm 120k then i would choose civic instead of lancer, but because proton had re-badge the lancer, with the price they announced is a steal, that why for my opinion inspira is the way to go,and ratyat support Malaysia, cause we are Malaysian

2 questions

1. Will it be too late for the 1st batch of 2.0?
2. When we should pay the downpayment? upon delivery? upon order?

I have just tested the 1.8 auto today, just a little underpowered under D, but the power kicks in when you go manual so its okay overall. I have no complaints except the rather compact boot space which I can understand because this car was initially designed for the sporty function not family vehicle.

However, this is surely one of the better (or can I say best) cars produced & built from a proton assembly line. I seriously can't wait for my 2.0 white car to arrive. After this test drive, I have erased all doubts that I've read about the hollow car door, platicky feeling, soft back seat and etc as I've tried, experienced and felt the car myself and am truly satisfied with it. Say what you want, I surely won't be disappointed with this "cheap Lancer" for poor people once its been delivered to me.
