Damn, I felt that medivacs were slow enough. Now they became slower =(. Guess ill just have to micro them better, losing a whole medivac full of units is devastating

Here is my advice when you are switching race. Do not be like me play protoss for 1st at ladder match. End up drop my WLR from 54 to 44%, lost 8 games in a row. Parctice your build order many many times. Go watch day9 video on drone timing. Zerg is a very marco heavy race to play. Cheers.

apparently I'm trying to play terran on NA server and god they are sure easy to play . I haven't even lost a single terran game and half of them are tvt's blink.gif

Yes, it is pretty easy to with MMM on NA server. Even their best T player on NA server couldn't beat SEA's Protoss player nIrVana. You can always watch replays on youtube on SeLecT v nIrVaNa.

his MMM improved a lot especially his control and constant pressure...
i think if nirvana would to faced him again, select would roflstomp him...

hmmm i did heard my frens talking about it on skype quite a while back...
though they didnt mention any tournament (and i deleted the replay they sent to me)

but it seems that select only know MMM only to get roflstomped by idra with ease when he cant MMM against zerg...
no doubt his MMM sense and control is among the best i've seen with 3pronged drops (think ITR styled but better than ITR), army trading and constant pressure...
watching MLG DC loser's bracket to see him MMM like 9 games in a row vs nony (3-1), kiwi (2-1) and HuK (2-0) is really boring...
thank god HuK did the mothership rush (which is ruined by the retarded crowd for select to scan it before atking)...

Though actually I think it's a welcoming patch to buff Zerg so we Terrans don't get yelled imba/OP all the time.

I noticed that most of the patches done by Blizzard is to prevent users from doing early cheese rush..

for example: they nerf reapers, zealot production is slowed and they increase the hp for supply depot to prevent baneling bust..

aggressive or not depends on how u play...
u dun need to proxy to be aggressive or during the 3-4 minute mark...

Didn't say I proxy right. I rarely proxy or I would've compained a lot about the supply depot before barracks. 11rax 12gas into reapers used to be good harassment without being too cheesy.

Early aggression can still be done very well with marines, but essentially removing reaper speed early on takes away a big part of Terran's early aggression play. Imagine speedlings requiring Lair.

the reaper speed is the problem, not the supply before rax (which i think should be reverted with the supply change as factory before speed is lame)...
u can see qxc vs idra where qxc still open with reapers and even bunkers etc which actually do deal damage...
the supply requirements does not kill off aggression as many claimed...
it does make it slower since u cant go 9gas 10rax 11supply anymore but that was insanely fast wit the proxy (faster than the first stalker, faster than the first set of lings)...

which is the only thing affected by the supply before rax...
as we can see from MLG DC and day9's discussions with the pro players+wheat, the supply before rax doesnt really affect high lvl games...
even in gomtv team invi, clide did an early proxy rax as well (or was it clide's opponent... it was a TvT) even with the supply requirements...


Added on October 18, 2010, 1:26 pmbtw i think this change is due to the korean BaracksBunkerSupply build (double rax-> supply as well as artosis said in SOTG) where the faster OC can get mules to cover up on the lack of SCV...

uhhh dude I think we have a misunderstanding here lol. The early reaper that was taken away which I've mentioned is due to the speed upgrading being a factory requirement, not the supply depot before barracks change.

Speedless reapers is shit.
