as i said tell that to QXC which opened with reapers (1-2 vs idra if u haven watch)...
early reapers without speed still deal damage to zerg's FE forcing commitment of larvae into lings...
people are still using reapers as we can see in MLG DC which is just yesterday...
people are not getting to abuse it unlike the past (speed reapers > roaches) etc...

You can refer to my earlier post which I mentioned reapers in the 2v2 matchup. Of course speedless reapers will still work to an extent in 1v1.

noise canceling was not that good...
u cant hear wut they say but u can definitely hear roars ETC...
refer to the video i posted...
even though HuK lost the game, he won so many frens (the HuK chanting when he was leaving the area etc)...

i honestly think the mothership rush is a good build for that map...
jinro lost in the GSL2 qualifiers to a toss that does that build...
wut more HuK chose such a map...

@ chiam
i still use reapers for 2v2, dun see wut is wrong wit it as u have ur partner to threaten the front while ur reaper(s) can sneak through the back...
reaper openings can allow u to transition to MM pretty smoothly for a timing push...

That does work sometimes but good players often don't succumb to pressure like these especially when non-speed reapers can be easily dealt with by marines/marauders/stalkers and easily gets raped by unmicroed speedlings.

We're playing at around 1000 diamond 2v2 now and non-speed reapers just don't cut it anymore.

speedling + hellion would be a more suitable combo. the hellion would take care of any anti-zerging units(marines, zerglings, zealots) while the lings can kill any anti-hellion units(stalkers, marauders, roach)

zergling run by + reaper cliff hop can go in mineral line and gg main base and workers while hellions cannot do that.

also, what hellions can do, reaper can do the same, if not better when achieved a critical mass (similar to how mutalisks work) due to their fast atk speed as opposed to hellions slow atk and even slower move speed (compared to speed reapers anyways)

what they do have is aoe flame, however upon speedling upgrade and chargelots and stim marines, hellions would die like crap while reapers could potentially hold their ground provided numbers are evenly matched, or reapers reaching a critical mass.

i have a confession: i enjoy mass reapers in team game and just snipe off buildings (especially zergs pre-patch)... mass reapers jz drop buildings so fast and so easy to micro wit their speed... when my opponents move out i'll jz move in and snipe snipe snipe and transition to a solid MM from my rax... and the supply b4 rax wont affect me at all lol (though the factory requirement will T.T)
