My rig used the same gc card. I had many hair tearing moments trying to get it working. Use Envy to uninstall whatever previous drivers and then reinstall. It worked for me. Now I could set the display to the Syncmaster 2232BW to its native resolution: a glorious 1680 x 1050! This post has been edited by ayob99: Aug 4 2008, 10:18 AM

Hi, I am new to ubuntu. Just install it on my laptop. I can access internet through the lan. But how do I configure USB modem (Huawei E220) to use it? Also I am using umobile through the modem. It works fine in Windows. Your help if you can would be much appreciated. Thank you.

QUOTE(bluswhitehat @ Aug 6 2008, 05:59 PM) anyone having problems with amsn??? i cant bloody login with amsn.. but pidgin works fine.... im baffled It was caused by an ubuntu update recently. Here is the solution: System --> Administration --> Software Sources Click the 'Updates' tab and tick "Pre-released updates (hardy-proposed)". Close it after you tick it. System --> Administration --> Update manager Click 'Check' and you should be able to see the amsn update. Select it to update and it will solve your problem.
