Hmm.. What drums do they have?
Its a four piece tongue.gif

If you die for  drumset, might as well you get and something bigger, and better, then swap out the toms and all for different tones biggrin.gif

Don't be so greedy. laugh.gif

Btw it's a splash he put on top of the crash cymbal right?

I realized that many do the same too.

Explain humble please.

Too general. doh.gif

This is my favourite Youtube drummer after Cobus. rclxms.gif

Added on October 30, 2010, 4:53 pmI still feel the frustration everytime I play my kit.

I've tried to tune it everywhere, but it just wont make the warm sound I want.

wow, it's been awhile since my last post here. Been busy lately, exams and stuff.

Isaac: Yeah man, the pearl steel piccolo is the best chepeast snare drum ever (replying to your older post, hehe). Maybe we should create a "Pearl Steel Piccolo" owner's club? hahaha.

btw, my friend's studio has a 5 piece Pearl Export kit, but the rental is a bit higher than Rhythmix lah, its around RM300-Rm400 per day. Is this for the charity concert?

btw, I've been using Evans Reversed Power Centre skin on my snares. I prefer evans than Remo coz I realised that Evans last longer than Remo.

How do they sound?

Warm?

I think this is a Roland TD-20 + Acoustic Bass Drum, cool ! tongue.gif

Acoustic floor tom too.

Can switch sounds between Cymbals, Snare and First tom.

it depends..wat i knw is rock school are mostly song based. while abrsm is more towards technical stuff

correct me if im wrong though.

Not sure about that.

But if it's so, then it's better for me IMO.

Cause I can learn more about songs while google up about technical stuff.

Any Tool fans here? smile.gif

Here with a help of coding.

IMO technical stuff = affect of tuning, type of snare and etc. My bad.

Btw, the 2nd part of the song, I'm doing something like that with a single pedal.

Around the same speed by using fulcrum.
Inconsistent though.

Heeldown one time, then when it rebounds then another time.

It's possible lah.

still sound pretty pro to me.. then use double pedal same technique u shud be able to hit 140+ bpm
*
Haha, what to do, I tap the floor with my feet everyday. Since young.

But I'm not gonna try to achieve alot with double pedal though.

Prefer to try my own style of music, rather than following the same trend of metal.

Hi guys,

I am looking to buy an electronic drum kits and currently eye-ing a used set which is Roland TD 6KX. Any advice for me guys  hmm.gif
*
I'm not really good at E-drums, but as much as I have seen the reviews for the Roland TD 6KX, it's quite good in performance for it's price.

And it's a used set, so maybe it will be cheaper, but again, if it's used set, check and ask for any faulty sides.

QUOTE(kc1sun @ Nov 5 2010, 05:24 PM)
hey... I new, want to learn drum, anyone know where to can I get cheap drum
*
Just here in LYN.

Suggest you to try to search for some used drums with brands like Pearl, Tama, Sonor etc, before deciding to buy drums like PDP, Peace, and other China brands. icon_rolleyes.gif

Unless I can get some really tough half/full transparent plastic, then I can DIY myself and add a lighting LED in it, with switch, remotes, etc.

Hey guys, I'm wondering how's your bass drum tuning and muffling?

I'm still having frustration that I've been tuning my bass drum for 1 week now and still can't find the sound I want. doh.gif

Now I just put the beating side tight and the resonant side quite loose.
