What's an interface? hmm.gif  Isit the mixer thing like the ones DJ use? Very big one...many knobs and whistles... drool.gif

Is it that? Damn this is even harder then nuclear science.  rclxub.gif

Nope nope, an interface (the one I'm referring to here) isn't technically a miser (though it kinda is) its basically something that acts as a "middleman" between your mics and your, computer perhaps?

I have a mixer as well. smile.gif The difference is that mixers generally output in stereo only, not in all separate tracks.

This is the Zoom R24. Just over RM1k retail at CK I think. 8 track.

Hey drummers, any one of you built your own cajon? I'm not exactly a drummer, but a cajon does seem kinda interesting to have especially since it's kinda like building a box according to uncle google.
*
Nope, but I'm thinking of it. Let's do this project together kay? tongue.gif

Pretty interested in your Paragons. Not sure how much to offer, cause I've never paid more than RM600 for something from Sabian, and that was for my HHX hats, brand new. So, you've got a price-range that I can knock down on? :/

hi drummers , namely metal drummers. what sort of sound proof rooms do u have if u play metal with acoustic drums ? i'm starting a rehearsal studio and looking for somebody who can do "average" sound proof wall partitions with the lowest cost
*
Redpocket studios may be able to help you with the soundproofing.

double bass is earthquake? if normal play like rock is acceptable no need soundprrooof?

No la, they're different styles. It was just a phrase when he said it. I've seen jazz drummers play louder than some rock drummers. Its personal. smile.gif

Pillows, but just once in a while. I play live every week or so usually lah, so my band practice times/church practice times are rather often.

I know I should practice, but I rarely do. Don't follow me tongue.gif HAHAHAHA! But I'm going to start up a practice regimen rather soon la.

Tama Speed Cobras tongue.gif
*
So now they should make Tama Control Cobras? tongue.gif HAHAHAHA!

Speed is good, you just need to know when to apply it, and when to roll off a bit. Vinnie Colaiuta is a great example of that. All his limbs are moving extremely fast, but you don't realise that when you hear him play. HAHAHAHA!

any good snare drum case u guys can recommend? budget around rm200
*
Size? I sell some.

QUOTE(Lacersan @ Oct 26 2011, 11:22 PM)
RM2,000 is not going to get you a decent branded drum kit. Just saying.
However, I'm all for beginners in getting a cheap taiwan/china brand kit, invest in good heads and cymbals.
*
RM2,000 isn't going to get you good heads and cymbals as well mate wink.gif HAHAHAHA!

It COULD get you a decent BRANDED kit, like you said, but definitely not a DECENT kit. You've got Pearls and Yammies for about RM2k now, but they aren't very good at all.

Just asking, then how much roughly if want to buy a decent drum kit?
*
It depends on your definition of decent smile.gif Sure you can get an alright drumset for beginners around 2-3k, but if by DECENT you mean midlevel stuff, including everything, I'd say 5-8k smile.gif

That's another reason why they can't say that they are having sales openly, cause its cheaper than when they sell to their franchises.
