MVideoplayer is selective , not all mkv or even avi files can be played by it. Anyway since is free, no harm trying.

I find RockPlayer is much better, at least it plays all my avi, mov, even Apple converted m4v files without any problems. You can just use the free version - donate to the developer if you like it

Somewhat looks interesting but even better if it has protection even on the top of the phone. Haha...

Today I went to Titiwangsa from Puchong. Previously I reported that the GPS never get to lock for >30 minutes. Today it was great. Instant lock, very good accuracy, no jumping, lagging and drifting of the map. I haven't changed anything though. The GPS must be very temperamental.

Prob is rockplayer cant display subtitles, of mkv files unless soft subs or hard subs. Imbedded subs, big no no!

how many mah is that? 1600?

of course cannot compare the mesh case to full leather casing, i especially like the SGP Vintage series, but I am worried it adds too much bulk.. once of the advantage of our SGS is the thinness.

yes GPS is temperamental indeed. i think its got to do with how its set to behave. with my Nokia N82 + Garmin I have NEVER lost signal halfway navigating, with the exception of entering tunnels. SGS + NDrive, the signal will be lost halfway under clear blue skies.. which is unacceptable IMO. hope froyo firmware package fixes it.

NO such experience so far . Rockplayer can display all my movie subtitles without any issues at all as long as the converted movie has subtitles. No need any settings just play the file

is it that bad?? i just install Ndrive and papago! ive been using Google Map a lot before. it locks within 10 seconds..rarely DC unless goin to tunnel or lots of trees and big buildings around it...

i thought the gps would be sweet like how i use Google maps?? i shall go out and try to lock satelite later...

Google maps with navigation runs on data, thus sucking ur wallet dry, so bad u even have to sell ur wallet to pay the data charges. Lol

Android Market

mkv is the hardest format i gone through, especially if you are watching an anime, even with psp so hard to get it display subtitiles, even many converter could not convert it with subtitle, mvideoplayer is the way to go to watch anime without the hassle of converting it, or losing the quality.

I hv a case n hand strap for my sgs. It's not easy to remove the battery cover all the time. Can u understand? Emergency battery charger is more convenient.

different people different situation, but i do like the emergency charger idea to put in my car, as i afraid the battery in heat is no good. but in beg i got battery spare. i have the soft jacket on, and i understand how it feels to open the battery back (more over i often flash the phone, so i really understand how annoying it gets).
