this is very useful if you're applying for a job overseas. but its a little more than useless if youre applying for a gov position.

Best would be to choose a subject that can demonstrate to the interviewers your skills, knowledge and advantage over other candidates.

Basically the company has given you a golden chance to prove yourself when they let you choose the topic.
You can talk about your internships, work experience, co-curricular activities, projects etc.

What do you have to impress them?

There is a fine line between self confidence and egoism

I believe what you present should fit into the job description

Hi guys,

Thank you for the advice.
I would pick my final year project as my presentation instead of "myself".

Hopefully I can pass the interview.

I thought most likely you already got 80% of getting the job if been calling for 2nd Interview and most likely the rest is the matter of $$$ or maybe the HR or Director want to do some face reading.

+2 .. From my experience the 2nd interview mostly by dept head. So expect most of questions are on the technical side of the job.

Good Luck! thumbup.gif

Hi guys, I will be going for an interview for internship placement with some firm this coming friday. The position that they are offering me is audit vacation trainee. So, if they ask me question like "why should I hire you?", how should I answer it? This is because:

1. I have not even touched audit subject in my studies yet, it will be on my final year.

2. This is my very first interview, no experience whatsoever and I'm quite nervous to be honest.
