Guys , is the game really that bad? Alot of gaming website gave it a below par score.

IMO, SE released this game too early, it has flaws everywhere, i think they are trying to beat WOW cactalysm by a few months lol..

The current market wards are driving me crazy and the lag is horrible!

But personally speaking... I like FFXI more...just my own personal opinion...

Sad...i gave up after 1 week of playing. The fall of my favourite game company cos of greed. The interface is that way because they are too greedy. They want it to be compatible with console and PC.

I guess the reason for bad reviews is yes, the User Interface is very user unfriendly. Should be tweaked soon, though.

Also because the whole gameplay experienced is changed, people are still not used to it. I kinda dig how the whole world is determined by player's actions, esp the crafting and gathering. You can actually play your whole game without having to be a monster murderer. You can just go become an armorer or a smithie or weaver and stay in town... and you level up. Woot!!

By the way, I'm not be able to play for maybe around a week or maybe more >.< Back in Ipoh, using laggy Celcom mobile brdband. Tak boleh main orh.

is this game worth trying?? cause im kinda addicted to WoW and i know ps3 have ff 14 i duno whether i should wait for ps3 or start plying pc haha..... i read some preview that they say ff14 online is not really that good so i need some opinions here ^^

Prefer PC ver than Ps3 ver

1st Hdd (Need Larger Space for future Update and Expansion)
2nd Updated (PC can use BT, Ps3 sure is use client update.. take forever to update zzzzz)
3rd Command (We can Copy and Paste those Macro Command if our Pc formatted, if PS3 formatted .. have to reassign)
4th Screenshot or Video (Not So sure ps3 have this feature or not)
5th Mouse to point Monster (Not So Sure Ps3 Support this feature or not)

etc etc

The game seems slow even on nowadays pc. At same resolution as FFXI this game is not playable... need to put lower resolution and the graphic is poor.

the above is ps3 controller instruction. other alternatives are xbox controller, logitech rumble 2, ps2 controller. may have other choices, didnt research much.

Try using a controller to play, it's really much more bearable. Since pressing one button brings up menu, using right stick to turn camera, etc, it made the somewhat laggy UI becomes faster in response.

I finally felt that it's fun after changing to use controller lol.

damn..these days really got no time to touch my ffxiv..
wanted to play so much but no time..
i think after 30days I will be paying my account monthly but only can touch less than 10 hours per month..

The shield you've got Sheepskin Targe, you managed to get someone to craft it? Or bought it? Can't seem to find anyone high enough to craft it, lol...

Where player wear a Virtual reality glass, and u saw ur surrounding like the game area surrounding..... when u battle with monster, it look so realistic.....

When casting magic.... also look something that cannot be done in real life......
