Aiyah, early in the morning found that the radiator cap already broken. =.=

I think I need a top overhaul, the temperatures are inconsistent, sometimes very high after some rev. Not sure is it the high temperature broke the cap also. LOL

^^^^^Wahahaha.....
Anyway, still regualr service will be the best on preventing overhaul....
Cost of overhaul are nothing(some yes some no). But during that time no car is the killer.... Just spend 20 minutes on your foreman once every half a year or 5000km is the best way.

Anyway, just started my second run of using alcohol. This time will be targeting 16km/l with average speed of 110km/h and mostly traffic jams on the way to work...

It was a very lengthy problem that cannot be fixed. Flushed radiator several times, changed different coolant, changed water pump, thermostat/fan and even changed to new radiator. Once in a while temperature still shoot near red. The only thing not tried is top overhaul.

The car is already 14 years old. Regularly maintained but recently acting up. The cost for small small repair is enough for a overhaul one shot actually. Instead of wasting more time and inducing more damage, I think a top overhaul is a good choice.

Did you check the wirings? Still get another 1 or 2 foreman to confirm before deciding to overhaul. My uncle's Wira already 16 years and still kicking....

Did a test run before but failed due to brake partial jammed. Now is second run because my exhaust got strong wax smell.
