Hi guys..

dn knw my freaking old 4g91 auto junk become sluggish after changed the plug,engine oil+filter,service the throttle body,engine tuning...shit like tortoise d climb slow slow when at lowest gears (1st and 2nd)

1) hmm the plug using the same type as previous type (nt mistaken denso)..quality ok gua...but the old plugs all can seen the oil at the "skru area"..might be engine oil seeping in...any bad side of this symptoms? overhaul?

2) engine oil?use mineral-shell (yellow) since get to knw gt some white smoke..but checked gt overfilled of tat oil..(previous too same overfilled but the car acceleration stil ok wor..nw even worst)

3) tuning? they use sm machine (kinda like portable square tv) attached to the plug cables and c on tat screen reading then adjusted bit of alternator regards/due to the torched light on the aircon/steering belt... might be of the alternator adjusted affect the performance?

Anyway stil survive to reached the top hill of Genting just nw...but need struggle a lot..luckily temp. nt increase tat high...

2) ok sure will have a try next time..

3) Heii is nt alternator...is distributor they adjusted..any1 knw/clarify if distributor will affected the performance o nt? car damn slow response in lowest gear and gear changes nt smooth at all...

1) don kedekut... haha.. if i am u, straight get another new set.. denso iridium, if with tide budget, get ngk platinum, rm80-rm90 i think...

and do check for ur voltage of ur car.. battery kong maybe?
or maybe ur alternator/dynamo kong soon? get a wira 1.8 punya alternator should produce more voltage for ur car..
better change another workshop n let them check for u..

Hmm so u meant tat distributor will effected the performance in term of electricity rite? hmm ya might be the timing nt adjusted in the proper range..but seems ok wo during drive..just the gear changed nt smooth-heavier to accelarate(struggle) in lowest gear.

Battery? oh ya..its already almost 2year and already died last few month ago-is cheapo MF batt then but recharge back to the tyre shop and walaaa stil can be use til nw..

Alternator already changed more than half year ago so ok wa...and before tat changed brought Delco brand MF batt at the acc shop so left it unused until the cheapo batt died but after recharged gt it use back again til nw..

The strange things was this Delco just serve a while and died later so w/o hesitate much gt it charge and left under the bonet til nw..so is it ok to left it unused in the car?

Heheh..ok noted on the plugs...save first then change it during next service...

Bro i'm driving 4g91 auto with the half spoiled throttle body (added vaccum-sm kinda FICD function to control idle),o/hauled the g/box, changed to bigger aircon compressor, my junk produce a bit of white smoke (need top o/haul together when reach the timing belt changing-1 shot ma).. so might be have some lack of performance of this junk...

Hmm already install VS and 5pnt GC..for the 1st time ya is good though but lama-lama cam x use loll...maybe is my wild instinct...

Batt...yup is using the cheapo NS70 MF rite nw..

Replaced the Delco batt during tat time tot that cheapo bat problems but it was the alternator KOed..Surprising the car can be drive for bout 40+ km...wow gd wo this Delco bat...

But before the service the car performance quite ok since it was after the service seems x tat good d..(changed mineral engine oil, spark plugs-previous old plugs float with oil,engine tuning, serviced tb..)

I'm serviced the car at Perak so cant gt back to that mechanic since i'm at KL rite nw..need to wait after gt back then will ask him and c...

Heard tat if the car eat engine oil the car performance will nt tat strong rite? Haiz repair lollll...All RM RM RM....

Bro nt mivec la..old dinosaur 4g91 wo...1.5 only...brought it 2nd car already with this engine..gt symptoms g/b kong and deducted some prices of it..

Ya old car need some cash to spend on wear+part..hmm total lost i think nt as higher as urs..mine just o/haul gb, both drive shaft, air con comp., some minor parts...

Anyway is my own car..wat to do..love it as it was be...

Hmm mivec is differ from my junk 4g91...mivec is 4g92 Dohc whereas normal wira 1.6 was 4g92P Sohc...mivec have better tech aka vtec function when reaching some speed..nt tat pro in here..may google or many sifu here can clarify on tis

Ya those gadget sm kinda for good appearance look only..being brain wash wa..heheh..but sm how during tat 1st time usage of VS+GC, was really have sm gd effect...but lama lama later..either feel nothing or looks messy in ur engine bay...

Ya want to knw wats the injector cleaner tat u mentioned..cheapo type as sold at jusco/tesco can be use?

Haha origin is 1.5 DOHC engine..Hmm ya quite confusing coz appearance look all mitsu kinda the same (4g92,93)..U may google up the image of those..sure more...anyway love the car as it was own...

Copy bulat2? nola..4g91 is 1.5 16v dohc engine while normal 1.5 4g15 is 12v sohc..nt tat same..seems cut cost or divert a bit..scared being raped by those japanese kua..

Nola own it about 2years jor...brought it 2nd hand..

suspension still ori 1.5...tot wanna change the suspension to 1.6 set up or normal sport spring..yup urs 1.6 is much more solid better compare to my 1.5..

Same year/spec of ur car as mine...

Wow installed surbo+stomberg spark plugs...sure good d...

Engine nt stable? might be ur throttle body dirty d or KOed (as mine-need add those FICD to control the idle but better change it to even bigger TB..)Hmm y nt u just service/clean up the TB 1st and c wats happen then..change the interval engine oil+plugs d?

Cold start? hmm normal kut as g/b nt yet use to it...just wake up ma.. Nola might be sm culprit...maybe sm sifu here can help...

White smoke? during morning start (is condense vapour), is the car eating/consume engine oil lot (might be need top overhaul/leaking coolant)
