That's my concern also, that's why consider sealing it... Need to ask around some workshop first....
Main reason is, the mushroom head already total blocked after using it for 7 years.
But the return to air filter can be sealed.

Guys, just took back my car from servicing and checking, the engine orange light lights up randomly and accompanied by jerking motions, like the car about to shut down itself, googled and found the problem was due to the throttle body, the workshop confirms it and ask for 600+ to change ( shocking.gif holy shit) am just a student and of course I can't afford that amount, so, any alternatives? So far light randomly lights up, and seldomly, and never died on me yet, *touch wood* so i think my throttle body is not that spoilt yet, am I right? I found a few pages back, some of u guys recommended throttlebody cleaning and changing wires, any idea on where to get it done?

Thanks

TL;DR need some cheaper alternatives than changing whole throttle body for wira 1.5 auto

It is a common problem for Wira 2003, haha... Because I have 1.....
Hope you know where's that fellow is.... Just remove the air filter hose, then open up the valve and clean the internal with the clean cloth. You will see a lot of black carbon.... Once done it should solve your problem. if still cannot, a bottle of 3M fuel injection cleaner or a bottle of rm3 alcohol will do the job...
Sometimes is due to your injection heads dirty also.
