Bulk is officially closed Ill accept any future orders though..but I wont be taking any payments till this bulk completes. Will update everyone by late tonight, Im contactable via all the contacts Ive PMed you with, as you can see, there's multiple ways of reaching me .
Let me know if you guys need any further updates, Ill off course keep this thread still alive with updates until you all get your stuff.

Haha yep! It is the one that is also the earliest to run out of stock. Whilst there might be thousands of folks in the US running around with them, i guess its perhaps safe to say we're one of the few in Malaysia at this time to first have them units, with ailinchia the first person in that I know of around having the very first 3G Kindle

Guys, sorry Ive yet to upload the shipment status, went back home from office only 1am yesterday and already in the office today at 6.30am. Ive got back to back meetings. Ill follow through later tonight. Just so everyone is updated, all the accesories except the Belkin covers have been shipped out by Amazon Partners to my US address. Amazon's orders been placed but they usually take a little while longer to work the items out.

Itll be soon when we get our stuff

Thank you sir! In fact I did it as a bulk not for a quick buck but to share the shipping prices, so we get the Kindle at a fairer price that what you would ridiculously need to pay otherwise
In any case, Ive finally found a way to capture clearly all the status so you guys can see. From the bottom, will be my first order, followed by the subsequent orders.
As you can see the latest the Kindle will make its way to my colleagues house is October 14th
But that's just a rough estimate, Im sure itll reach earlier, in any case, as promised you'll be updated of course

Update : wildquest just joined this bulk. Not to hold up the bulk, wildquest has gone for an expedited shipping option so the Kindle chosen will
reach earlier or at the same time the other Kindle's will reach. Updated the status in Post 1.

Sorry for the apparent silence folks, the days have been tiring with me reaching office by 7am and only leaving 11pm the whole of this week.

Great News! All the Kindle orders have been shipped out yesterday by my colleague in the US after getting the final batch of Kindle's on Monday 11th October. The Kindle's have been securely packed and bubble wrapped amongst the accessories ordered as well. Being shipped in via DHL with Insurance cover on the all the Kindle's. Coming soon folks!

I got my Kindle!!

Thanks to havocx for all the trouble.

This bulk is actually my first time paying such a big amount upfront for buying something (normally I do COD). When I first express my interest in joining the bulk, he PM-ed me all his information, with a whole list details and he took time to answer all my concerns too.

Not surprisingly, I wasn't worried at all for the bulk with the frequent updates sent by havocx even with his busy schedule. When the kindles arrived, he not only PM-ed, but also SMS-ed to notify on the kindle's arrival.

The excited me couldn't wait any longer and quickly arranged a meetup with havocx. I only gave him like 20 minutes notice. When he passed me the kindle, he took the time to do a demo on the kindle as well. I was practically drooling on the e-ink display.

havocx, thanks for all your time and effort in organizing this bulk. Kudos!

now.. time to continue playing with my kindle.

Played around with some pictures of the Kindle yesterday



Thats an Iphone 4, Ipad and Kindle all on the same page side by side with half brightness.
Guess which is more pleasing to the eyes heh. Take them outside though in the harsh bright sunlight, and voila,
Full brightness on Iphone 4 and Ipad - Totally dark and hardly able to make out the display.
Same brightness on Kindle - Still the same, readable

Hopefully the rest finds the same enjoyment, Im getting requests for a 2nd bulk, ill reopen them on Monday if there's more request

Yep,
That you can, and like ours on the First Bulk, they can be registered even if we're in Malaysia. Some books we cant get since our IP would show that we're from Malaysia but using Proxy's there's still ways around that. Besides, there's a lot of Free ebook resources out there.

Project Guttenberg with 33,000 free ebooks for instance
