Question.

Do they provide 0% installment plans for an outright purchase of the iPhone?

Just talk to them nicely lah. tongue.gif I think that as long as you have 2 booking slips, you can make it work -- especially if that other person is in your own family.

But try talking to one of the customer representatives first, just to be safe. wink.gif

Just found out my phone got barred after getting the iphone. I think they did not change the plan and i'm being charge for the usage of internet. They told me it would be fixed in 2 hours.

My other no, they got confused with broadband package and postpaid line. Seems like they are gettng messy

hi guys .. i keep reading this post but i still dont understand how this things work...

Q: Installment plan? How?
A: The Visa/Master CR Card merchant is only for Citibank, HSBC, Public bank, Maybank and CIMB Bank on installment plans.

Example, If you purchase ip4 32GB on Ivalue 1 X 12 months contract = RM1990

Ivalue 1 : RM400 for 24 months and RM200 for 12months <--advance payment
ivalue 2 :RM620 for 24 months and RM200 for 12 months
ivalue 3 : RM1250 for 24 months and RM500 for 12 months
ivalue 4: RM2000 for 24 month, RM1000 for 12 months

This so called advance payment is either Swap your credit card which is not under installement plans, however there is a rebate RM40 X 5 months = RM200 which is credit back in your bill.
Basically the advanced payment will be credited equally over in 1st 5 months of your bill. [credit weileong]
can explain to me abit more clearly if i confirm buying iphone4 16gb with credit card ?

if i buy the phone on 12 month contract it will be RM100 x 12 + RM1,690 right , so total it will be rm2890.

then how the Ivalue 1 RM200 for 12months work?

and so if i go there i need to bring how much cash to buy the iphone4 + the contract ?
*
this is what i understand:

when u register for ivalue 1 for 12 month contract, u will need to pay RM1990 (iphone 4 32GB price) + RM200 (advance payment) = RM2190 ONLY

then for the first 5 months, every month, ur total bill will be RM100 - RM40 = RM60, due to the RM200 advance payment u paid when u registered. (200/5 = RM40). Of course that is assuming u dont exceed ur limit for the iValue 1 plan.

correct me if im wrong

Those maxis guys were pretty tired looking I tell you. We still have it easy compare to them have to work round the clock. They were effing struggling to meet the demand man. I heard the guy serving us saying 2 hours sleep is a luxury.

Sorry for being really short with the answer, but yes that's definately how it looks like since they stopped taking numbers at 10 PM and they must finish all the customers waiting by hook or by crook.

Cqme at five plus. Only got served at 1.09 AM. Hoo ha this and that and only now back home.
Asking for tomorrow's number would not be feasible since they even have to recycle and retrack back several series of numbers.

I think this Maxis hyped launch is pretty ridiculous. I mean, I dropped by the Digi shop right beside my bank where I was at on my lunch break (same day 24th today). There were like 4 people.

No one should go thru HOURS of queueing when you're paying top dollar for something premium. I mean unless they're giving like free cases for every phone purchased. Even then, I wouldnt queue for 6-8 hours... seriously what is this I don't even...

I bet they'll still have ample stock come Monday when it officially launches nationwide. Then it'll be fun to hear the thousands of people who attended the launch collectively groan "CURSES!!!" while looking at the sky.

agreed... also at johor no crowd at all...onli waiting average 30minute before get the phone...
