I'm not sure it's possible - if they go by the books you're gonna need your principal line holder to sign on the dotted line (read: the contract). Also, if the principal line holder is overseas, how are U going to get hold of his/her NRIC?

I can...the thing is, I never registered for interest or anything. Friend sent me a link, which out of boredom at the office, I decided to fill out, 20 minutes ago. And considering what i read on here about how so many people are trying to get into it but could not you'd understand why I have my reservations yeah??

Possibly being a Maxis customer for nearly 10 years taken into account here I guess.

its just matter of the how many people in front of you que for ticket number and wait for iphone.

btw, guys, remember its month end, every1 got their pays and shopping mall going to be pack.

so, be prepare and brave for the traffic jam and human jamm. Sigh, getting an iPhone is not as easy as you wish.

i've already got the photocopied IC and letter before he went oversea =p

tat's exactly wat i asked the CS, but they say "just indicate u r authorized to purchase the iphone 4 and enter into any proposed contractual plan or packages".

but yea i do understand the "sign contract" part, so gotta see how those friday people do, apparently quite alot people r in the same shoes as me.

It's got nothing to do with U being a Maxis customer for more than 10 years. U managed to secure a slot only because the slots are still available!

Yeah. It's fairly obvious that. Like I said, I just had my reservations because I did not register any interest. Never thought it would be that easy to go thru to be honest, considering the number of people whom i read on here trying to go, especially at 2 days before the event. Granted, I'll probably drop by for the event and check it out as 2 other friends got the same time frame as well. Will probably try to score my father's CIMB card or sister's HSBC for the purchase though when it's out in Maxis centres.

Don't need to tell people here U didn't register interest ; I registered interest but until now didn't receive any RSVP links via email from Maxis. I did however, receive an sms about 1/2 hr ago.

Weird ehh how the event works. Well, will be dropping by for the event. No idea yet whether I'm going to actually buy it yet.

Oh btw, question for anyone who by any chance knows. This 0% installment thingy. Is it a one-off thing for this launching or will it be available after as well???

No idea - maybe U call up Maxis to check and let us know the answer I'm thinking, if you sign on a plan with Maxis they should give it to U FOC but *shrugs* I ain't Maxis so I don't know

Plus if they do make you pay RM25 they make quite a lot of $ and it's not like U can fault them

Based on the i3GS plan, it's the same as the Public Plan, but it takes few mths later for them to launch it!...

Lol... but it's so true hence the importance of buying the phone when it's initially launched; to maximise its lifespan

I'm not too excited to the get the i4 as the iPad serves me way better while the phone now is just a phone.... except to get it just to change call plans.
