It really depends on rom and user......
even with same rom and same user, some will report very good battery life and some said the battery drain very fast...
i'm using latest .48 radio, and it is really good i think.....but a lot of people complaint it drain battery...

with the RIL installed it's better
without RIL it's worse than .47

Yup, tried without RIL for 1st two days...
can last only around 1 day+ with <1 hour of voice call....
with RIL i can used up to around 30 hours with 2 hours+ voice call~~

is there fm transmitter for htc desire?

Yes, fm transmitter build together with the headset.....

I don't know whether this has been discuss before but has anyone comes across the problem where(in my case), the desire is installing 3 apps and still stuck on that for days. I've tried deleting the apps or force stop it but it's still stuck on installing phase. Cheers.

long time no see. I think you forget the basic already...

It is not connected with ROM. Just need to power down your Desire and power up again (not via reboot). Might need to clear your market cache too.

nop, used r9 for quite some times...then just switch to super villain rom last two week~~
Will only flash back when Paul release something new...
r9 is consider stable as Paul is rounding up r9 and releasing r10 with HD soon....
r9 come with .47 radio....no update from Paul yet...

Yup. Cell signal bar, speed of gps locking and battery life time.....
