i flashed auraxtsense, i was suppose to get 140 something memory left in my phone but after i checked it was only 46mb, n
everytime i download anything frm market place... my phone restarts..

Just bought SIS Desire last Friday,and it's SLCD,and confirmed no more amoled,battery life really drain pretty fast compared to my previous iPhone 4, a bit warm while charging or when using gps..
Sorry can't answered your 1st question as this is my first time using HTC..

the difference are mainly already on the spec sheet.

there is only SLCD set for sale now, if you want AMOLED you need to get 2nd hand.

for battery, it can last more than 1 day for light usage (some phone calls, smsing, light games, some internet, etc),
if more moderate usage about 1 full day, if heavy gaming, about 5 hours.
high temperature, not really, more like getting slightly warmer, mainly only when charging the phone.

Anyway to get around the wallpaper crop thingy? any apps to prevent that?

what do you mean by wallpaper crop thingy?
if you want to retain the full image of the wallpaper,
just make sure that the image is 960X800 resolution,
then when the crop thingy comes out, just "crop" the whole image

but i still cant fit the whole picture inside, especially vertically

what resolution of the image that you're setting as wallpaper?
it has to be 960X800, otherwise you'll have to crop out part of it.
you can try resizing the image using image editor first, then only move it to your phone.

and of course you can't set the wallpaper vertically, as it spans itself through out the 7 screens,
this means the wallpaper will have to be aligned horizontally

Ah i get what you mean. Think is can i fit a photo for all the pages? I want the same photo for every page and not letting it span through out the pages?

I doubt its possible unless got some 3rd party apps to do it, which I also doubt exists...

I don't think that's possible, unless there's only one screen,
like how you can set it in launcher pro plus, but not possible on HTC Sense home screen,
the best you can do though is that you put the image that you want in the middle of the wallpaper,
so it will appear right in the middle on your default home screen (4th screen),
but it will still move when you move to other screens.

Try using launcher. Some launcher it has options to disable wallpaper scrolling. Try adw launcher or zeam launcher

never encountered such problem bro...my advise is to redo flashing...i did reflash 3 times to get the system stable on my phone...make sure when you 1st boot,it automatically takes you to setup page not by restarting or removing the batteries...sometimes i do encounter that problem but not that frequent...the 1st time i flash auraxt,i always get that problem...just reflash back and you'll be fine bro...

my friend using the Jack Sparrow version...fast lock and very accurate...

i encounter same problem before .. i do partition first then flash again .. problem solved.

yeah dat might b da problem, but i tried to do partition jst a while ago wid rom manager... but it din't partition my memory card...it took me to da green recovery screen... n i don't have idea what should i do next..... so i jst pressed reboot n whn i was in rom.. everything was jst as normal as it was... not a single change.. though i can move apps in sd card but still some part of it remains in phone...

some body can help me how to partition sd card in easy way....
it'll b a g8 help...

check out my sig on partition ext2/3/4. I think you did not setup the partition properly - so the usable ram at fresh flashing is so low.

can it partition linux-based partition? at a glance, i think it is a windows based partition software, no? We need to make linux partition to enable A2SD+, not as simple as just make a windows partition.
