Hi to the desire veteran,

I m thinking of getting new SIS Desire, but not too sure which shop can provide those services like getting it 'rooted' and all the mms,SMS and etc setting. Yup,I m totally noob and don't wish to get stuck after I goes back to east coast.
Also, new batch just came in at Low Yat and they mentioned it's preinstalled w Froyo..

Thanks.

that is after you unroot it back,
but the fact remains that rooting does void warranty
also, if you don't even know how to root,
how are you going to un root smile.gif
but all I wanted to say is that if you're going to root your phone,
why not go for ap set and save that few hundred bucks

Thanks for your kind advise,guys..

It is making sense to me now, seems very clear. Guess I will steer clear all those rooting stuffs since I just got a Sis set ... Thanks again, guys.

Monitor wat app running on background, use task killer if needed, for us, we rooted our desire so that we can flash custom rom to undervolt and to use setcpu so that we can control the frequency usage to save batt. Smartphone problem is always about battery drain, that's normal.

To make all app can be install on sdcard you can use sparepart app and set default install on sdcard/external, but i think u need to be rooted. Im not so sure because ive rooted my desire on the first day i got my phone.

Desire dont have 3g symbol, H symbol mean hsdpa equal to 3g connection, e symbol mean edge for 2g and g symbol mean gprs also for 2g

Hi,

Just got my SIS's Desire and it shows H while in KL,then E on Kuantan highway, and finally 3G when back in Trg smile.gif But the battery juice really drain pretty fast down while doing bit browsing, replying my pm,briefly playing game, texting and brief calling...

Hi ,

Seems all my facebook friend's birthday are all 1 day early even though I have checked their details and the setting are in order.

Any of you having this weird issue and way to resolve it . Thanks.

Hey guys got a few questions, hope you all don't mind it ya smile.gif

1) Is there any significant difference between Desire's HTC Sense and the 2 latest/newest HTC Sense in Desire Z&HD? If yes, mind stating it? smile.gif
2)Does the current batch of Desire come with AMOLED or S-LCD? I hear there's no more production for the AMOLED version?
3)I hear about poor battery life and high temperatures, mind commenting?

Thanks ya!

Just bought SIS Desire last Friday, and it's SLCD,and confirmed no more amoled, battery life really drain pretty fast compared to my previous iPhone 4, a bit warm while charging or when using gps..
Sorry can't answered your 1st question as this is my first time using HTC..
