since you never mod your phone, i suggest you send for warranty la.

i bought straight from the phone but usually they'll send you the unlock code, or QR code to be scanned.

Just found it after read this POST.

Previously all my contacts are in Google and also sync with my facebook.
After I install CM 6 all my contacts' pic gone, I tried to sync with fb again only those with the same name manage to sync.

How do you CM 6 user deal with this prob

I thought sms doesn't need apn? Only mms need that.

Before I install any Rom, if i have two different names but same person in my contacts, I can group them together and choose one display name.
But in CM6 is it possible to do that? and link to facebook...
coz no if my frens have weird name at fb it wont sync with my phone contact list

Anyone using OpenDesire here? Wana try it out but notice the rom zip is juz 63.8mb which is quite small compare to AuraxtSense 160mb.

Hi guys, my new HTC desire are able to read chinese and type chinese, but the music player cant view any of the chinese words that show properly as a file. i downloaded mp3tag trying to change the tag to unicode (thats what people on the net say would work) but i am not sure how to do it, anyone know how to? or any other easier way? Thanks!

I use windows 7 chinese input to change the chinese name with mp3tag. If you can see the chinese word properly in Windows7, it will appear correctly in Desire.

have you checked the filesize? and do check the md5 sum if its available.. usually they did mention it.. and btw, some rom is small in size, but just make sure that it really is small cuz u dont wanna flash a corrupted rom for sure

Yes, it's that small. Previous versions were about 68MB but the latest .28 is just 64MB.
OpenDesire has the most fluid Launcher2 and easily the fastest ROM available for Desire. Small ROM but full of Cynogen customizations inside.

Which 1 shall i go for? Coz from i read about, its both from same developer. Correct me if i m wrong.
