Me too when 1st bought just got around 60mb, b4 flash to new rom. After flash i got around 130mb

every time i reboot my desire sure some icon missing..
then hot restart again reappear again but my market still MIA !!

what shud i do now??

Anyone realised that the desire blink green when notification mode, yellow while charging ...

Wat about blue? And also red perhaps?

Hi,

Just got my SIS's Desire and it shows H while in KL,then E on Kuantan highway,and finally 3G when back in Trg smile.gif But the battery juice really drain pretty fast down while doing bit browsing,replying my pm,briefly playing game,texting and brief calling...

handcent do flash blue led for incoming sms...maybe you can try LED me know app...

Hi phantz,

Got mySIS's Desire on Friday too at MidValley,preloaded with Android 2.2 or Froyo with TFT screen. May I ask whether yours the same too?

yeah dude, i did hard reset n it worked, i had 130 mb n after few installations like angry bird n etc.. it again became around 60.. but m happy now atleast it's more then wat i got in da beginning

just got myself out of a harsh and educating episode in my experience of android ownership

all started with flashing latest clockworkmod, then sd card unreadable in recovery problem complicated by premature wipe causing no rom to be installed, then usb brick problem

finally went thru it all with the help of shahz and xdadev forums

at least it forced me to learn about fastboot and terminal commands. and the most important thing - backup, nandroid, backup whole microsd

its very hard and frightening when u have all your life stored in the phone

When ur desire shows 'h' thats mean ure on 3.5g hsdpa network. Google wcdma than you know my friend. Google knows everything. What i know is wcdma and hsdpa is using the same network channel only that hsdpa have diff modulation to support 3.5g network. Hence they only stated wcdma but still capable using hsdpa

-with custom rom and partitioning ur sd card . or use mod installer . but must have sd-ext

to save battery ? asuming u using slcd .

use undervolt kernels and set cpu .

Guys, I just got my Desire on Friday. I charged it for 7 hours then I unplugged it and keep it in the drawer without touching it for 24 hours.
When I look at it again, the battery bar has turned to yellow.

Is this normal? Why does the battery drain so fast? I didn't even use the phone.

i wanna buy this phone but i have some doubts on it:
1) how's thw battery life, can it last for 2-3 days with no call, few smses, online for 1 hr ?
2) hw many type of screen does this phone come with? amoled, tft, slcd? which one is the bez? any difference in price?

-background apps (i kind a doubt it)
-some one using it to play angry birds perhaps ?

1. its a smartphone . average of 8 hours per day . so guna pagi sampai petang sudah kena recharge
2. desire got 2 . amoled and slcd .

1) possible, but only if u keep the phone's screen off the whole time.
2) ....................? AMOLED and SLCD. Google for the differences sweat.gif
