I think my battery got problem already. Everytime I leave it to charge overnight, the next morning when I on it will straight away show 98-99% and not 100%. Must keep on bump charging it to 100%. Troublesome. sad.gif

Yup on the first day i got my phone. Dont worry it will not bricked ur phone, no report bout it yet. Anyway since u just got ur phone i suggest u to play with ur phone first, understand every way the structure and architecture so that uderstand why need to root and why flash custom rom and kernel. To save space, try uninstall unuse app. Have u try to move the apps in the manage app setting?

The phone doesn't charge to 100% because the phone will stop charging once it hits 100% and let it drop to ~90%. This is to prevent battery degradation smile.gif.

There are apps out there that can change this behaviour I believe.

It's htc feature, when ur batt charge at 100% it will stop charging until meet certain treshold. This feature is to make ur battery life cycle longer.

When ur desire shows 'h' thats mean ure on 3.5g hsdpa network. Google wcdma than you know my friend. Google knows everything. What i know is wcdma and hsdpa is using the same network channel only that hsdpa have diff modulation to support 3.5g network. Hence they only stated wcdma but still capable using hsdpa

Do you have winamp installed? There is a default setting under it which auto mount the SD card. Check this.

hello guys. im planning to get desire soon. but this question came across my mind. desire has only 512 MB of rom. is it enough to install many apps? im worried if 'low memory' problem occurs later.

could every app be installed in the SD card? please help me.. im still new in android world

you might encounter this kind of problem.
However, there are 2 ways to fix this.
either force to install into sd card or root it.
the later method is better one.

Yup, but bear in mind, some space still will be use in the internal memory. Example, if i install a 3mb apps in the phone, then force move to sd card, around 100kb to 1mb will be in the internal memory, remaining 2mb will be in the sd card. I dont know why but i think it use for cache. So thats mean the more app u install, the more space will be used in the internal memory.

What problem? U mean when 2 finger cross each other at horizontal or vertical the system cannot detect which finger after that? If that, there is no solution, it's somekind of hardware capability error from htc itself.

Around 130mb left. Just tidy any apps u dont use to save space, this is a limitation for us desire user. But u see, why install 100 apps but only use 20apps. If u still want to install lotsa apps without problem, u should get samsung galaxy s. Because it come with large internal memory. But trust me 130mb internal and 8gb sd card should be enough. What else u want to install tongue.gif
