i try my best to guide you bro...

1.do root to your phone using unrevoked
2.done that,off your phone and then press volume down+home key and turn on your phone...you will go to boot menu...
3.go to recovery
4.do a backup
5.done backup,reboot and copy everything in your phone to your pc/laptop
6.download rom manager from market
7.partition your card using rom manager
8.done that,shut down and reboot to recovery
9.under advanced option if not mistaken choose mount sd,connect your phone and copy the rom you've downloaded
10.clear everything... (user data,dalvik cache,format ext,format sd,clear batt stats)
11.turn off verification signature option
12.find select zip file from sd option
13.choose the rom you have copied in your sd card
14.wait for it to unpack and install
15.reboot device and enjoy...

do correct me if i miss any steps or anything...

the 1 one bro...copy in sd then just flash as normal...you may experience bootloop...just reboot again and it should be fine....

you using what rom bro...usually one 1st boot you should have around 120mb-130mb free space depends on the rom also...im using auraxt and on first boot i have 135mb free space...after restoring everything,i still have around 115mb of space...try reflashing it again and use rom manager to partition your sd card...hope that helps...

Rooted only without custom ROM?
Go and flash a custom ROM with A2SD+, you will then have all apps automatically installed on SD.

flash custom rom bro...manyak shiok woo...there's plenty of rom to suite your taste...do browse xda developers forum for more rom...there's auraxtsense,leedroid,supervillain,miui...up to you which suites you best...

im not sure what rom im using... cuz the shop which sold me the phone do for me.. the uncle was doing it for free so ima kinda noob i dono much

bro - how do i do backup? can i just copy the Card and SD content to desktop?

btw - will it effect the Batt Memory - cos i am using 3200 Lit Ion Mugen batt pack.

go to menu - settings - about phone - software information - check under software number...thats your current rom...

that one you backup all the data in your sd card...if you do a nandroid backup,it will backup everything as it is before you flash custom rom...you can try using titanium backup to back all your important data...

netken : just follow the steps in that site...you should be fine...

supervillain is awsome . but it is non-sense rom with htc apps ( meaning u dont get the fancy clock )

if u wan htc sense u need sense rom . like auraxtsense , leedroid , or villain rom .

Correction, you still get Sense apps but not Sense widgets and Sense UI only

if you want smart dialer,you can try youlu...forgot d who recommended to me...register with the site and you can backup your contacts to their site...

Actually if you use launcher pro plus with beautiful widgets on sense base rom like supervillain then you can have most of the widgets replace~~
launcher pro plus have people widget, beautiful widget provide clock with weather (the weather is updated better with accu weather),
there are tons of music widget out there which is better....
so you can actually create a htc like home screen with same widget functions, but faster and more customization...

I bought this set base on tech radar review.

I like Lee droid rom, thus i cannot patch to reduce system partition size as it need about 225mb space to install this rom. I think aura rom also cannot and all rom base on sense. For other rom like miui, oxygen, you can freely reduce system size to benefit data partition..
Just my two cent after soff..

Who cares.. i can do other things :-P

did anyone realize that the speaker quality is not that good, it sounds tinny and crackles alot, is it normal for desire?
