like this bro..you can check using quick info pro, there you can see under system. by default everybody will have 250mb partition. rom will be install under this section. like you install software inside your hdd but the diff is, we can install anything inside hdd. but under system partition we only can install rom. and Lee droid required 225mb. i cant remember how many mb miui need...maybe 175mb..so the balance 75mb is waste like that..
but apply patching the img from alpharev (this method required to S-OFF first), you can assign partition for system become 180mb..enough for miui (let say i'm correct with the rom size). and the balance 75mb will be add to data partition which is by default only have 150mb. and now become 225mb.

default
system 250mb -->this section for rom installation
cache 40mb
data 150mb -->this section that for application

after patch (diff patch diff size base on alpharev. in this case i take example data++)
system 180mb
cache 10mb
data  261mb

now you can see data partition already increase..

for some of us, we already using adsd+ which is much larger than modified data partition base on our ex2/3/4 configuration. but there are some people do not like on asds+ and still stick with the original one..so they might need larger data partition.

if other sifu see on this..correct me if i'm wrong..

Yes, you are right....
using roms like MIUI, OD, CM, you can have more than 300mb of data storage (*if you dont push GApps in system)....

if you don't want to try J-Style beta version, then you may flash eevek rom first. in future, you may flash again J-style without wipe.
*
I dont want any beta release. I want a stable release, that's English and iOS themed.
So which do I download now? The iOS theme doesnt work with other roms, e.g. AuraxTSense?

i think u might get confuse. basic MIUI already using iOS interface look alike, not the typical android 2.2 interface. J-style is basic MIUI + add-on theme to change better nice icon pack, add-on apps, extra add-on functionality. that's why when you see the J-style xda thread, the instruction stated flash 1st rom (MIUI) and full boot, then flash second time again(extra stuff). hope you understand better.

honestly - just like other smart phones around .... for me .. its about 1 day or less .. full usage - calls, updates, FB, surf, sync, calendar, movie, etc ..

until i've expanded the batt to double size ... then 2 days nicely with 1 day charge. flex.gif

You dont have A2SD+ yet bro. Partition your SD card using ROM manager.
And remember, with A2SD+, you dont need to move apps to SD manually, everything is auto.

Yes I'm confused indeed! So any of the MIUI english 11.05 will work? Yes I noticed the 2 downloads. Was wondering what it was cause rom is usually 1 zip file only.

Also noticed the latest MIUI 11.05 is trying another kernel? Any bugs? Will try to flash tonight!

since it's stated EXPERIMENTAL STUFF, so I din try it. no comment. But I can tell you, normal MIUI english 11.05 work fine.
1 known issue I found out, might encounter intermittent launcher FC. second is the timezone issue. download TimeZone Changer app to fix it.

J-style always add on new stuff almost everyday and many changelog, that's good thing.
but I just follow and stop for last week update only.
If you afraid of any bugs or unstable issue, you flash the 1st ROM. after full boot and test, using it.
do a full nandroid or backup. then only try his experimental stuff when free, since it is a bonus add-on.

p/s: if always want the latest custom rom release, no matter which rom, nobody can guarantee stable or bugless.....
