Maybe just do it like Sigma DP 1 & 2 Merrill to have X200 with different focal length.

wahhh it's very tempting and shakes my saving..need to stay focus on x100 or wait for x200. Interchangeable lense cameras not my fav afterall but still looks nice

More like an X-Pro 1 without the OVF... Looks interesting including the new OIS zoom.

Pricing of XE1 is US is ~$1000 body only and $1400 with kit lens.

RM1.2K for the Zoom lens seem a bargain compared to Pana 12-35 at RM4K.
KIt same price as OMD kit so those who prefer Rangefinder type body now has
choice.

Yes, Pana 12-35 has a really crazy pricing. Somemore the DOF is actually better with the Fuji kit because of sensor size.

I just hope they can really speed up their AF reliability and matches what the rival can do, if not it will just be expensive toys.

Was going to get an OMD for its zoom and 5-axis IS until they announced the XE1 with its zoom and OIS.

OMD on hold.... Waiting to see how the XE1 performs.

XP1 quality with a higher resolution EVF (which I use most of the time on my X100) and also built in flash..... What's not to like? :-)

If I were to buy the X-E1, I will definately get it as a kit with the zoom lens first then
next year buy the 23mm f1.4 (35mm) when it is available. Dream on

A lot of new compact camera try to rival with x100 but none of them really give me the urge to replace the x100.

i'm still going for X100 if this is the case...

It has an electrical viewfinder (EVF) but no optical one. Frankly I used the EVF more than the OVF, suits my style more.

anybody jumping ship?

Other than faster focusing than X100, really can't think how much better the final photo can be since X100 also give very good results at ISO3,200. Don't even have build in EVF...
