In the article Fuji seem to confirm there will be a X100 with interchangeable lens
launching in Febuary 2012. Interesting.
So many nice cameras so little money sigh

But then the next X100 won't be cheap. Wow the Japanese website for the X10 looks great. Nice pictures. Waiting to reach here.

I think buyers consider value rather than price when deciding whether to buy or not.
I read X100 already sold more than 300,000 units worldwide. That is about RM 1 billion
in sales. Cameras is not kachang putih business LOL

Having sold my S95, I need a new camera and shortlisted the X10 and Canon S100.
X10 will probably cost RM500 more. s100 has 24mm which I like bcos I like to shoot scenes
like busy markets and old buildings. The small size is also important. The x10 looks
very capable except for price and size would be perfect.
Both cameras will be on the market Nov or Dec 2011. Which camera would you guys
choose if you have 2K budget. Thanks

Fujifilm Msia is accepting bookings for X10 by leaving your phone and name. They will call
you when the camera is available. X10 price rm2K to2.2K.Problem is fuji sell at full retail price.
They still sell X100 for RM3888. They do not forsee stock problem like X100 bcos X10
production is six times more than X100. Kiasu me register lah but I think street price
will be around rm1.8k after 2 or 3 mths. Better to wait. The good news is X10 free from
bugs unlike its big brother.

So fuji will be selling it at 2k-2.2k? Any estimated time of arrival? Coz my mum gave the green light on buying the x10, given that it arrives before her trip to Dubai, which is on 1st December.

Lucky you , your mum is so nice . No confirmed date yet. Keep your fingers crossed for next month.

some people are reporting that they're seeing white spots inside the lens yawn.gif

Those are dust i think. If the lens move when zooming and focussing air and dust
will be sucked in. I had some old lenses with 10 times more dust than this
but it will not affect IQ. Even brand new lens have dust. Don't shine
a torch light into your lens. What you see will upset you. ha ha

Added on November 1, 2011, 7:53 amHere is an interesting article on how dust and damaged lens element
affect image quality.

Dirty sensor will show up in photos but not dirty lens.

Good morning.. early in the morning also I kena X10 poisoning from colleague so share share the link here

http://www.wretch.cc/blog/wingmanzero/10323283

ps: impressive but still small sensor if look closely.
*
Damn nice. Are you sure they are shot with X10? I saw some SLR being used.
Also why the constant whining about small sensors. If X10 and XZ-1 sensors
are m43 or aps-c size, will we get 112mm at f2.8 and f2.5? and small size body
plus cost below 2K? Maybe in 5 to 10 years lol. Thanks for sharing.

Added on November 2, 2011, 2:07 pmSome nice close ups to share. The first flower seem to be floating. Someone
mentioned 3 D effect. Is it the photographer or camera.

If any of you suffer from insomnia or have time to kill, check out
this neat comparison between S95 and X10. 60 plus pics.
I am not a pixel peeper so to me they look pretty much the same.
I am starting to miss my S95. ha ha

X10 DOF (bokeh) effect is closer to SLR than compacts. Nice for close ups.

Added on November 3, 2011, 4:32 pmCompare pic 27 and 28 and you see the effect of dof on the main subject.

X10 price  RRP RM 2,288.00 ..

walao ..so expensive =.=
saw taiwan price around RM2100  (got free bag and battery?)
*
The correct X10 price should be RM 1,888 since X100 is RM3,888
Fuji Malaysia very chinaman they like 8. Anyway Us 600 is about
rm 1,888 so I will wait until the price drop. No hurry the longer you wait
the better the camera. Buy S100 to play with first.

Got free hood if I recall but apparently shipment all sold out di.

Apparently our local x10 kit will include the original leather case. Somebody asked
fotokem on their facebook. They are taking orders only. The camera will only launch
next week at rrp rm2288.
The leather case good for storing camera but if wear around your neck and go outside
donno look like what. lol . Reduce the price to rm2100 no case better.

Added on November 5, 2011, 1:02 pmsome nice pic to share. They are so sharp and colorful I don't know
can resist buying x10 or not.

X10 is rm2288 with the leather case and 16gb O.O. They say stocks arriving next week probably, or end of this week. Damn it, should have waited a bit more lol, my uncle bought mine from US already, but slightly cheaper, about $600
*
rm2288 is RRP . A dealer inform me street price maybe slightly below 2k. The US kit
dont come with original case right? so rm2k is quite good. in a few days we will know.

Fuji dealers are starting to get their x10 stock from today. I just got mine just now.
Size is ok for me not too big. Feels smaller than Nikon P7100. I was waiting for
canon s100 but still no news so cannot resist x10. Warning if you just want to
look keep your wallet at home.

Pricing of XE1 is US is ~$1000 body only and $1400 with kit lens.
*
RM1.2K for the Zoom lens seem a bargain compared to Pana 12-35 at RM4K.
KIt same price as OMD kit so those who prefer Rangefinder type body now has
choice. tongue.gif
