Read on a few sites that Rooney is causing problems now.. It was reported in Soccernet that he said Fergie lied about Rooneys ankle injury and i read somewhere else that he halts contract talks.. It was very silly for him claim fergie lied because even a school child would know that all Fergie was doing was protecting him.
I know we should take all this news with a pinch of salt but Rooney has been in the news for all the wrong reasons lately.. Is it time for us to get worried? |

QUOTE(shirley_andy @ Oct 15 2010, 01:52 AM) Yeap. Apparently SAF told the media and fans that Rooney had an ankle injury and had to be out for a couple of weeks. He did it to protect Rooney due to all his problems lately, both on and off the field. Most of us already knew why SAF didnt play Rooney and accepted that it was the right move but of course SAF needs a 'cover' story for the press so he said ankle injury. Then yesterday,Rooney outwardly said he never had any problems with his ankle for the pass 2 months or something. Not a very smart move by Rooney to go against the gaffers words but lets hope this is an overblown topic by the media. |

QUOTE REAL MADRID STEP UP FIGHT FOR WAYNE ROONEY SourceREAL MADRID are prepared to go to war with Sir Alex Ferguson over Wayne Rooney. The Spanish club are adamant they can land the unhappy Manchester United striker. But they will wait until the end of the season to make a concrete move because Jose Mourinho has ruled out any bid in January. Lol @ this never ending chase by real for our players. |

Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. You know when fans say their team was unlucky or opponents were lucky, today is the perfect example of it.
2 goals out of nothing! I dont even know why the free-kick was given in the first place. Its really so frustrating to sit there and watch the team self-destruct like this so often especially after watching the first 15 mins of the match where we looked bloody fantastic.. |

QUOTE(Canopies @ Oct 17 2010, 01:20 AM) wondering...why the fans wanna leave when still got few minutes left ? always see this in mamak or even in teh stadium itself. sorry to say that. I wouldn't say its a loyalty thing but at times its very frustrating to sit and watch whats happening. I personally watch every second of it in hopes something happens, but i don't blame those who leave. |

QUOTE(alien2003 @ Oct 17 2010, 08:57 AM) Anderson clearly dragged/pulled the shirt of the Baggies player outside the box so clear offense there. Yea i saw him pulling. Then i saw them both pulling. Then i saw the WBA player crossing. Suddenly 5 secs later only foul called. I was watching at Picadillys, maybe a little too loud to hear the whistle i guess...Please boxy, we DO NOT need sarcasm post whenever we dropped points. Can't we put a stop on this? What's the point of doing so? Back to the match, so now we are drawing home game? Our 2nd half performance is really Personally, I think we did get affected after Giggs went off injured. If I remember correctly, the commentator did mentioned we go to 4-3-3 after Gibson came on for Giggs. |

QUOTE(Sheep319 @ Oct 17 2010, 11:25 PM) I think it's the defender's mentality that's causing this amazing goal-leak-fest. LOL exactly how ive been feeling lately. Ever since Everton scored their second goal to make it 2-3,ive been having that feeling.Gah. I swear to God, even if the next game we're 5-0 up, I can't sit still. I just know, somewhere, suddenly, "5 GOAL BLITZ IN THE SPACE OF 1 MINUTE" I still think the squad is very strong. Even our defence was good yesterday. We were just very very unlucky with those 2 goals which we couldnt do anything about. I agree that the 2nd goal was really silly, but mistakes happen, even though i expect that kind of howlers from arsenal goalies |

Im trying not to think about, let alone speculate on Rooney leaving but we should seriously oppose any swap deal for Benzema. This guy has repeatedly snubbed us,is very lazy (according to reports),doesn't play with heart and certainly seems like a player who won't give it his all with us.

Wow Rooney, really making a huge mistake. Wherever he goes,he's gotta start all over again considering he's been rubbish the since April this year. Ronaldo left as one of the best in the world.
I seriously don't understand why he wants to leave. Is it money? Did he fight with SAF? Is he bored? Whatever it is,stay or leave,he has just lost a fan. |

QUOTE(dlct87 @ Oct 19 2010, 10:41 PM) dunno what had changed him...first he screwed with his own life, then he screwed with the club and the manager who had stood firmly to protect him when the whole world is against him....a sad day indeed for the gaffer, the club, and the fans.... I actually feel really sorry for Sir Alex right now. He must've treated Rooney like his own son and now he's getting betrayed like this.its sad to see him leave, but club>player, so good luck out there, and thanks for all the contributions all these years... if he chose to run away to avoid the media, then i'd say he'd made a huge mistake....United (especially SAF) never fails to defend its stars from the media....from Beckham to Ronaldo it must be very heart shattering for the gaffer to make that announcement....like a father who do everything to protect his child, only to discover that he didn't appreciate it at all... |

I think i should leave now... Been sitting here for the past 2 hours refreshing stuff and talking to people about the decision.
Really gutted that i was so wrong about the player who i thought was gonna be a life-long player and legend here at Manchester United. Right now im just really gutted and angry at Rooney. Maybe tomorrow or in a couple of days ill accept his decision and be thankful for all his contributions. Even saying this feels so weird, cant imagine seeing Rooney in another jersey |
