Jokes aside, anyone else thinks that Fletcher is ready to cement his name from rotations in midfield? I personally thinks that he should spend more time with Scholes to learn a little more before he establish himself as a regular starter. It will be rotational with Anderson back, Gibson catching up, Scholes never seem to be lesser than what he have, and Owen Hargreaves back Frankly, I only watched the first half of the champions league game against Rangers and I thought Fletcher's long passes are a lot behind Scholes'. It wasn't too much of a help when the team isn't fielding their best 11 especially against a tinier team. I think Valencia was in the game, and it never really seem like he is getting fed like how he was fed from Scholes. Before I went snoozing, I thought that I wouldn't be surprised if United draws goaless.

Yeah, it was rough like rugby on the pitch. I think Scholes and Giggs cannot play in the game against them simply whack only. U saw the way Silva whack Alex on his leg when Alex was blocking the ball to let it go for a goal kick. The way Barry shoulder tackled Ivanovic.... The 3 DM isnt too scary though. I think its more like Chelsea being weaken by Lampard's absence rather than City is good. Lampard will be back against us if he dont get injured again. It will be a whole new Chelsea then.




I changed my mind with Fletcher not starting against bolton. I forgotten that Gibson-Ando was in midfield in midweek and not Fletcher-Anderson

Now frankly, whats Valencia without Zigic, Villa, Silva ;p Juan Mata one man show? Yeah, there are on top of the La Liga, CL group with 4-0 away win, but come on man! Its United here we are talking about! The last year's Valencia i would be worried, but the current squad just dont look too strong to beat even out depleted side. The only bad side of the team is the absence of Giggs and Scholes... Hope fletcher can fill the void of Scholes' ansence.

what if u are Owen. what do you think? U did everything a normal striker does to start more often. He score 2 against Scunthorpe but that wasn't enough. He had to salvage a point for us within like what? 5 minutes after introduced? If Rooney did both in 2 consecutive weekend, everyone would have praised him like God, but when it comes to Owen, its always, 'ahh he should be fine on the bench, he likes it there'

Juan Mata is going to pump the ball to Silva, who crosses in for Villa/Zigic. Its always this 4 guys. I dont know who they played against, was it against big teams? Or was it like Chelsea

Added on October 2, 2010, 10:19 amif im not wrong, Welbeck cannot feature in this game. Players who are loaned out are not allowed to play against their mother club. Thats why City wan to loan Given away. Can help some big team gain some point, but cant play against City, which i suppose is good?
