i bought few leather case from pdair too..so far all received.. but i got lost few items which i bought from ebay before.. i did a claim thru paypal.. so far got the refund back if receive the item after 30days, unless i forgot to file a claim thru paypal maybe sgp mail more effective than msia tats why i scare off a bit if the item more than rm100 above.. if lose mean gone..

my tab having battery problem yesterday afternoon..i charged for almost 5 hours only show it full.. then around 7pm i on it, 9pm showed battery flat and off.. then i charged it again..but took only 30 minutes shown it full.. then when on it, its like 10 minutes drop 20% of battery.. heart thinking have to send back for warranty already..so did a hard reset.. then when restart, battery show 98% compare to just now only 70+%.. so i connected to wifi, dl app and let it on with ebuddy from 10pm till tis morning, battery still got 71%...luckilly still ok..if not, i will have to let my tab rest in hospital maybe till even after cny.. anyone have tis problem?

i also have the same problem...u can read in detail from page 79 and on...i send my SGT to samsung center at penang..it takes about 3 days to replace ur battery and re-run ur software...but then, all ur data will be lost, if u hve SD card, it will be great, u can save all in it..if u dont have..sync to ur kies before send to samsung...mine still at penang, 10 days already..

coz i dont have time to have it back..but still they told me, if i leave for another 3 days, they will update new software for me...huhu..still 2.2, but newer version..dunno new firmware r..dunno..send it quick to samsung center!

icic..but my battery after i done a hard reset then ok oledi.. maybe test for few more days..if problem come agian..guess need send to hospital too tats why i hate the built in battery style

Buy Samsung TV that has Dlna features. Can directly access/play file from your Tab.

The other day, I saw an Ah Beng holding a Samsung Galaxy Tab like a folder while making a telephone call with it. He looked very business-like and 'busy' with his new toy. If he was using a bluetooth headset, its acceptable but a pair of headphones?

That definitely pushed me towards the apple camp if that is the best Android can do.

but mind you, its not like the iPad is any better, it doesn't even support calls to begin with.

SGT is a tablet which just happens to be able to make phone calls as well.
the SGT does support bluetooth headset, but its his business on how he wants to use his SGT.

if you want to judge Android, just based on this sight alone, then there really isn't much to talk about.

yeah..definately agree..ipad cant make call so u dun need a 'headphone' to call..or else wats the different if u make call with ipad using the headphone? lol.. even bigger ..at least tab is smaller wat to say ipad then? too bad ipad still no call function..

The thing is, we can 'choose' how we want to use it the way we like, not because we being 'forced' by Samsung to do so like a certain manufacturer.

Celcom.Axiata : Allow my 2 sen opinion . I am a ipad user ( 64GB 3G ) for 8 months since May2010. Frankly I still feel until today iPad is overhype. I am , you can say quite a Apple fan. I have following Apple products which I bought for myself and family : Still with me - iMac, 2 MacBook Pro, 1 MacBook Air, 1 White MacBook, 2 iPhones 3Gs and lastly iPad ( which I just sold off as none of my children wants it).

Being a gadget freak, and an expensive hobby of mine I always like to try new gadgets. I will go to all lengths paying a high premium just to test it and I have no qualms selling it off later at a big loss if I don't like it. It is an expensive hobby which I must say is within my budget. Allow me just to say those who buy the TABs definitely have a purpose and they feel the TAB meet their needs.

My NEEDS for a tablet is just that it should be versatile enough and allows me to customize and offers great portability. I have replace the iPAD with the latest MBA 11" as I find it meets all my computing needs out of home while the iPad only fulfill 50% of it. The iPad do nbot meet my portability and work creation needs. However I find the TAB does. This does not mean the iPAD is not good just it did not fulfill my needs

The keypoint here is NEEDS not WANTS. I would like to buy the latest Mercedes S Class or BMW 730i - that is my want. But do I really need it as my average mileage is only max 5 km/day and a monthly KL or Spore trip. YES I will if it is my need to show off my prestige and wealth or I just just have too much money, don't know how/where to spend it. For a car my NEED is simple - just a means of reliable, economical transport. So even I can afford it, to me a 1.6 to 2.0 litre car is sufficient and GOOD for my needs

Your comment about the user and your conclusion is strange. Firstly the TAB is a tablet ; its additional phone functions is a bonus as I always say. Most guys who buy the TAB will use it primary as a tablet. How one wishes to use it as as aphone is his choice. If he wants to hold it highup to his ear or allow the speakerphone to blare is entirely his choice. To be discreet he can use a bluetooth headset or wired headset.

seriously, the TAB hard ware is great. they should let ppl know this can make phone call la. the moment i knew it can make phone call, it suddenly becomes an iphone killer ( to me la). lol. a combination of iphone and ipad.

I never try as my TAB still only few days old and I have reflash it to a different Europe firmware. . But a user here AdamKing has said he updated his rooted TAB through KIES successfully. After which, he has to root it again as the update removes the root
