QUOTE(naTTan @ Jan 18 2011, 08:05 PM) I just used odin and followed the instruction in the rotorom (did i spell his name right?lol) and everything went ok accept my product code is KOR now. But i don't mind since i only lose out on downloading certain apps in the samsung store. After you flash rotohammer rom, did you install a ClockworkMod Recovery ? If not, you can try Chainfire CF-Root which is compatible with rotohammer romI saw nprrussel in the Tab forum if he produce a villain rom would be great. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=885734 |

Lucky the tab is only used as a tab. |

Becareful updateing to JME. THe official one comes with a bootstrap and won't allow you to update to a rom without the bootstrap.

I thought that Tab currently doesn't have any custom ROM, does it? Though I heard about Cyanogen project for Tab is being passing around in the forum but haven't see any custom ROM being made yet other than flashing to other region. May I know the benefits of flashing to other region's ROM? I'm aware of the US Tab doesn't have Phone Call Capabilities so that's why they are flashing to the Euro Tab. Since that we have all the functions, is it worth the hassle to flash to other region ROM? I haven't root my Tab yet unless there are custom ROM available around the net. *edit: oops... just noticed that there ARE some ROMs available on the XDA already... however, it seems flashing Tab is quite a hassle work and more complicated than flashing G1 (arr.. guess I need to re-learn everything again since G1 flashing was kinda easy compared to this and I nearly forgot everything already... IMO, if any device is working properly, don't touch it. Not broken, don't fix it. Unless the benefits are like gingerbread, then maybe risk it. Intact I also buy a lot of stuffs from EBay for the past 5-6 years too - never encountered any lost in transit. I have purchase small items ( stylus, batteries ) to bigger ticket items PDA, smartphones and even a 15" notebook . Most of the purchases I received between 7 to 10 days. If you wish to purchase stuffs online and worry about this , it is best you do not do it. Anyway if the seller is reputable , he will replace any lost in transit item to you. Check his ratings before you buy. If buying from established online like Brando, PDAair, Expansys, Amazon no need to worry at allits look promising.. i saw market got varity of bluetooth keyboard, some stated support android.. but worry tat it is not compatible for some mode..but tis one come with case.. convenient to bring around too..
