Bro, its not to say those reviews are lying.
Just take everything u read with a pinch of salt (dont take it to heart, but take it into moderate consideration)

and as most people would say, ur not gonna take videos for a long period of time ALL at ONE go. So its only a minor setback.
I still doubt tho that shooting stills will cause it to overheat, unless you're doing like 10fps over and over again after recovering from buffering.

and lastly, you cant find a 'perfect' camera. each camera will have its own little niggles, but you've got to overlook it and focus on the beauty that is a Sony. lol...

Nowadays DSLR market, video mode not only hook photographers but video + cinematographers as well, take Canon 5D Mk.II as a good example which it has being used by several motion pictures (like Avatar, Iron Man II and so on.)

In fact there are only very tiny little numbers of VDSLR users who mainly uses for cinematography more than photography and what Sony wants to do is to protect its high-end model video equipment market compare the others so its DSLR/DSLT model would take less video options but at sooner this method will no longer works as most people would choose more flexible video DSLR in several aspect (because it get videographers attentions for purchase as well)

Sony NEX VG-10 is the not perfect either for the price tag (In Malaysia it is seriously ridiculous) and video bit rate quality, people rather pick Canon 5D MK2 or APS-C model with loads of prime rather than it but for those who do documentaries would like it some how (because long play features?)

In terms of sensor I have to agree NEX-VG10 has bigger sensor but in terms for professional features and add ons these Panasonic camera has more offer for serious work + the sensor it self has no aliasing issue and has built-in rolling shutter + flash correction

wingster: Would've liked #2 done in a way that the ramp aligns to the bottom of the picture so it looks like he's jumping up.

I think is quite hard for me to catch up as they move quite fast, also need to fix shutter speed is fast to avoid motion blur + bright aperture to avoid under expose >.< .... I'm all done it by 50mm Macro lens ...

Thanks for the feedback, I'm trying the color mood and I this is my first try of "lomo blue" effect, green + blue strong out

Another output in vertical form, need to study some photographer prints as well... like Chase Jarvis (but still cant get the angle and idea all the time :/)
