i just placed my pre-booking A55 wit Mr. Chin.. cant wait for the arrival. i heard i am entitled for some free gifts from SONY.. well it's good news then.

i still wanna keep my A700 just wanna try out the video. they said the video is awesome and great. been reading some articles over the net. i hope it is really a good one to try. the price is quite reasonable too..

my A700..if im using AF..the lens dont seem to focus.. it keeps moving non-stop. what could be the cause of it?

but if im using MF...i can take nice pics..no effect on the lens. can someone help me?

is it becos of the sensor or the AF motor is faulty?

yes the focussing ring turn as well

yes there is focusing movement on the lens

but the image still blurr n it doesnt stop focussing

TrutH_SeeKeR: Remove the lens, and turn the A700 on - no non-stop sound right? Then your lens has gear stripping.

no bro..the lens all working fine..its just that it cant focus n didnt stop focusing. but if im using MF..it works good..beautiful shots as usual. it is nt the lens probs..i tested with all my other lenses..same thing happened.

As promised, i am updating the arrival of my SONY A55 this afternoon. thanks to Mr. Chin. yes i received freebies from SONY, mini drybox, 8gb high speed memory stick, SONY cleaning kit and extra cleaning cloth frm Studio Zaloon. i am still charging the battery. n reading the manual as well. according to Mr Chin there wont be any VG for this camera, so its more suitable for lady photographer, like me to hold the camera. as for guys, you can have a steady grip using this camera, cos its smaller than A700. and i have sent my A700 for servicing n the problematic focus motor. i hope i will get back my A700 soonest possible.
