hi hulahup,
channa orientalis.. hmm.. gotto hunt around. origin from Sri Lanka if not mistaken.
will update here after i check.
btw, anyone into c.aurantimaculata? very colourful and nice fish though..
some german hobbyist manage to breed them.. numbers of fries is indeed crazy.. according to my research (many said these species required low temp to keep succesfully and stimulate breeding).

Pudu has them? Any particular shop? And pricing? Btw, thanks a lot.
C. aurantimaculata dont grow too large. just about 40cm on fishbase.org record. might be abit more, so still ok actually. hehe.. IMO keeping a 40cm species in a 2 footer is a sin I don't have space for bigger tank actually

I don't know the shop name it's beside darson electronic and the one that sell on the side road under the tree. And when i said sometimes i meant it rarely. The price depend, if many then cheap. Usually around rm15-35.Sometime they also have weird snakehead name e.g haruan harimau
