Strugeon now cannot find any in Penang :/

Guys, does your fishes jump often ? I was reading bout Arapaima and Sturgeons seems like they jump alot in the wild. How bout in captive ponds ? Need to cover ?

no need to cover, juz make the pond higher little bit,, juz my opinion. i think more depth the pond, they'll not jump, only when they catch their prey. IMO.

my araipaima committed suicide by jumping out. And from stories i heard, If ur arapaima is big - u better cover with a huge / heavy wood to prevent them from breaking the cover and jump out.

But sturgeon on the other hand .. I nvr seen them jumping.

I think a strong net will be better,because the the fish jump they might hit their heads against the wood and cause head trauma smile.gif
