I tested the D7000 on 85mm f/1.4G and 70200 f/2.8G. Razor sharp at ISO100! Kaolat!
*
Really ka?? So sharp? I can see very obvious difference between D7000 and D5000 when taking portraits eh, the face tends to be very soft, I suspect out of focus, I should go back Nikon to calibrate it? How to do it?

QUOTE(KTCY @ Nov 15 2010, 08:39 AM)
Try at dark places la. Bright places use ISo 3200 see nothing and off the noise reduction !
Gaussian blur because the noise reduction la sleep.gif
1.8 actually very soft laugh.gif
I saw bunch of body only set with NIKON MALAYSIA warranty le. Your source doh.gif
Agreed. Tested on 50mm already razor sharp !
*
I shooting at F2.8, still very soft.... not close to sharp at all, I don feel exited n happy after getting this coz not as sharp as old D5000 at iso200, my gf oso can see very soft sweat.gif I suspect wat pengster said might be right, calibration prob?

Actually a bit scary, cause my friend using 18-105 on her D7000. I'm using 85mm f/1.4G on my D90. On LCD screen her pics looks better in color! Maybe because of better LCD? I dunno, wanted to load the pics up in my pc to view but I lost my SD with the D7000 pics dry.gif. Need to grab the pics from my friend since I was using 2 SD card in her D7000 with back up function biggrin.gif. Oh I love the 2 memory card capability!
*
U r right!! The D7000 has more saturated colors(a bit too fake) even at Standard settings! CY how u find the images at iso200? Can share a bit, I dunno wat's wrong, who can help me.....

Added on November 15, 2010, 9:44 amI bought at 3.9 k, initially I was told 3.8k, but the boss of my fren's shop insisted to sell at least of RM100 margin to me coz very limited stock now..... All shop have +/- 3 units only, my fren told me to wait, but they dunno when is the next shipment, might be few weeks to 1 month, scared of ending up no body for christmass, haha..... So if u guys can find cheaper than 3.9k, pls grab it while u can......

Early morning I doh.gif my head to wake myself up laugh.gif
As long as it's NIKON MALAYSIA warranty card, it's local set.

Thanks~
I also heard from the a shop making claims that other shop selling cheaper could be giving non-genuine battery. Any idea? I think it's possible but I'm not sure, if they do that, if Nikon Malaysia found out they will be in trouble right?
I think better if we check on the battery if possible.

Looks front focus 2mm. Then again, when you compare against the D5000 did you use single point AF or using all the AF points (ala area mode).

I seldom use area mode, I mostly choose single point n focus on eyes, this D7000 looks like the face being photoshop, lol..... the face looks so smooth, haha... being blurred

Can I know how is the process of having my D7000 calibrated? Nikon BTS do this? Need my warranty card and stuff? Will they need chop and date for my warranty card? I don want the card to be filled cry.gif

Weird, my friend's D7000 is sharp even when using the 18-105. When fitting on my 70200 and 85 really killer! Damn love the focusing speed as well.

Haven't tried much on the D7000. But I like the base 100 ISO. Good for prime lens to shoot at f/1.4

Was trying out my 85mm outdoor, 200 ISO 1/4000 still overexposed dry.gif. Damn.
