The one mounted on 60D is Sigma 50mm f/2.8 EX DG Macro lol

Initially I thought it was a Sigma 50mm f/1.4 since that lens is better than the Canon 50mm f/1.4.. but 50mm f/2.8 macro? :S

Previously he compared the D7000 against the 7D, he did mention the 7D is better. Anyway, he also admit he's a Nikon fanboy.

Spec wise, build construction, etc. no doubt the 60D didn't stand a chance, just like he mentioned, it feels down-graded from it's predecessor, where as the D7000 is a major improvement over it's predecessor; I think this is what makes the difference mainly.

Anyway, I think the Pentax K-5 is a much closer and tougher competitor to the D7000, with the Pentax scoring better in overall score. It's shown in dxomark, snapsort, etc comparison; Of course, these are just comparisons. What's most important is to the owner himself/herself.

nice review. But sadly eos 60d cannot compare with d7000. Price tag also huge difference.

Haha, you get what you pay for. Anyways the 60D out of competition this time. This D7000 is up against the 7D instead. Like previously lor, people comparing D90 to 500D. LOL.

Just came back from Mid Valley surveying the D7000 price. One shop offer RM3850 for body and RM4500 with kit lens.

Not really. You have RM 456 more to spend if you go with the Canon. That's almost enough for a Nissin 622 MKII flash @ RM558.00 as well. <3

Did anyone compare with Sony NEX-5? It looks softer and less detail in 6400 but smoother and cleaner than 60D or D7000?

My friend just bought a D7000 today. I tested it too. I like the shutter sound! Silent and nice .

And focusing speed is impressive!

Made my decision at last after testing out again at BTS vs D300s, it's there for ur torture!! Chosen this for the weight n size
