okays, i've confirmed it, there's no armrest for mazda 2

latest accessories are only the
-leather seats-
-touch screen with built-in gps and dvd player-
-sports lips-
-ecocoats carbon fibre facial window switch panel-

and the accessories package which cost RM888 includes
-rear ash tray-
-cigar lighter-
-multi-centre console-
-alloy foot pedal-

for the alloy foot pedal alone, i haven't get a reply regarding the price yet

multi center console..I wonder how. it look like..sports lips is it the one like rs version ? want to install that for my car

RS spec doesn't have sports lips o_O
it's not included as far as i know

have picture for that sport lips + multi centre console ?

guys, second service just oil filter n engine oil right? mind is due to serv8ce..6 months due although mileage haven reach 10k from last service..

Yup, 2nd service change engine oil (RM209) and oil filter (RM20)

hi, just want to check with u all, does any1 of u feel the gearbox jerks? mine is almost 9 months now, having this after 1K, told SC bt said the gearbox manufactured such... it is getting worse bt PJ SC formen said that n wondering will it be the same if report it again. checking out the others who might have.. do drop ur comments plz... tq

Mine is only 2 months old and mileage 4.5K. No Jerk or what so on the gearbox.
Tell SC dun bullshit, dare them to ask MAZDA to declare in the press that their "Gearbox is manufactured such that it jerks after 1K".

Get it rectified soonest possible within the warranty period.

I wonder service center can call n book for appointment..or is first come first serve basis..

what means by gear box jerk ? i don understand ..

would you mind to elaborate how does the gearbox jerks? I haven't experienced any trouble with the gearbox so this may be a good info to know.
anyway if you think the gearbox is functioning in an unusual way, and the SC is not taking your complaint seriously, do write in formally to their customer service and demand a thorough inspection and replacement parts.

I had my M2's rear lamp and steering rack and pinion replaced after going to and fro the SC 5 times, writing in and making noise... not that I encourage making noise but I lost my temper at one time..

I think it means that it's not that smooth when the car is switching gears...

ipoh chin 3s centre for mazda service allows appointments though but usually 1st service and the rest won't take so long..unless need check for any other things...
ipoh side, no complaints regarding gear box jerking so far
less than 3 only drop by to check steering column
other than that...there's nothing o.o

i'll post up pictures of the sports lips and multi centre console once i have the chance

going for 3rd service end of dis month b4 cny altot mileage oni 13k. safety measures to service and inspect car b4 long trip during cny. just did paint touch up on some minor scratches and nanocoat wax of d car as well.. do it early as ol dis car claening wil get busier wen nearer to cny..

1 more thing i wan to ask u guys regarding the "hold" button . does this work as Over Drive like other cars ?
i tried it n i found out this ...
1. when i was driving like 40-50 km/j then i press the button , by right it will down shift ur gear rite ? but mine is up shift .
2. if i was driving like 80 or 90 km/j above n i press hold then it will down shift .
3. at traffic light ( car is stop ) , pressed the hold n wan to accelerate , but i feel the gear is heavy , off it then the gear will down shift n i can accelerate faster .

from my previous car , my OD wont act in 1. n 3. like i stated above . so does the above thing apply to our m2 ?

I went there 3 times wit whole lot of complaints... the last i rmbr was 3 month ago, i demand the guy to write down all the complaint in the inspection paper so that the guys back at workshop does know wat i meant. the foreman came and asked me to drive. while driving the thing hpn, told him wen it occured, he said " saya tahu kenapa, bila gear tukar, rpm tak cukup"!! so he told me to press the acce pedal all the way... well if u press all the the way, sure u notice less and that makes ur car to go in fast phase!! i was telling him im getting this hard jerks on bumper 2 bumper to traffic.. not wen i accelerate.... but i notice recently even wen i accelerate without letting the pedal off, i do feel the gear jerks.

gearbox will jerk during swifting from 2nd to 3rd gear if I do a smooth acceleration. With hard acceleration it will still jerk during swifting from 2nd to 3rd gear but not as strong as during smooth acceleration.

hmm i gave up as the warranty gng to expire soon as nt sure hw to convince these fellas to look up at the matter.

the other prob was, there's a burning smell entering in the cabin while aircon is on, told them, n you knw wat they changed the filter inside the cabin. I lost hope totally with them wen tey told me this. i'm nt a foreman nor good on cars, bt nt so bad as they can tell me this. that filter, filters out particles/dust of the in the cabin, n wat i was complaining about was burning smell entering from outside in. goodness sake. simpe aite.

writing should be good, but to whom shall i direct this to?

Added on January 11, 2011, 12:33 pmgearbox jerks usually related to clutch wear off (thats wat my foreman diagnosed for my old wira).. n its running good nw. thinking the same, bt just cant make this fellas to agree with my opinion nor my complaint. there is always a answer for it wic at times makes me to wonder could that be possible.....

Hi all i've bee using M2 since April, the mileage is already 38k.. so far i had not experienced any default with this car, love the car .... but then again i had to change my tyre because i ran across a pot hole, my rim got bent and had to be fixed ... since last week i heard a slight friction sound, i think it was from the tyre but donno, anybody experienced it?? will go to SC this sat

my 1.5 year car only just clocked 36k

I feel bawah pokok mechanics are better den those at sc..
working at sc is try to avoid as many problems as possible..
tomorrow I'll try Penang sc and complain about the air con smell and see the outcome..
and the fc is. worst den my esha highway n town drive.. uncle style driving..
