I also have to pay for the oil & part, i only get free labour for servicing. I use fully synthetic oil.
Has anyone aldy change the air filter? How is it (K&N?) ? If i do it not in bulk but individually would it very costly?
*
I'm planning to buy the K&N filter, if you want I can put you in the list, if we get 10 buyers then price is RM280.

Yes shlimmm, pls put me in the list. I really wish to gain horsepower for my M2. Btw, i am in ipoh, i get it from u in KL and no problem to install on my own? And it's nothing to affect the Mazda warranty, right?

I don't think it will void warranty, but will check with my friend as see. As for installation it's quite straight forward, just drop in filter only, but still need to recalibrate the ECU. The guy who sell it actually travels to and fro Penang/KL on a weekly basis, I think he can stop by Ipoh and install it for you.

well, so far there's 2 in the list tongue.gif , anyone else interested?

Yo guys,
some question to asked,
I do wonder why you guys get Mazda 2 instead all the car out there
sucha Peugeot 208,Honda City,Kia Forte Ford Fiesta and so on,

At 1st iplan to get M3, but due to frens pressure
and my both frens finance are not so good..so itag along wif them
mostly iwould drove this M2 for 3-5 years than gave em to my mum or sis
and get any new Mazda by that time.

SOrry for the tldr..it just something maketh me wonder and discuss.

hi all....been a way for a while.

Just wanna check wif u guys.

My mileage about to reach 10K km and i am wondering if the 2nd service is 10K km excluding the 1st 1K km or inclusive?

When i did my 1st service they pasted the 2nd service and written the mileage as 11K km. When i look at the manual, it just say 10K km. And when i call the sales office, they say follow the service centre.

Any advice guys?

Added on December 12, 2010, 12:20 pmPart of the reasons why i got myself an M2 is that i do not want to burden myself with too many fixed expenses. No doubt M3 has better features but i find M2 is not too bad also compare to those of the same range.

Not sure if you realised this, but i always notice people has that special stare on Mazda cars compare to its near rivals. tongue.gif

As for me myself,

a. Peer pressure
b. zoom zoom, iprefer all those so called "no market value car"
eg Peugeot,Ford Citroen etc etc idaMn hated Honda (lotsa Beng showin off) and Proton ! That for sure.

c. ifound the exterior is kinda not that bad but somehow the interior not up to par, just so-so
feel very plastic and el cheapo alike, sorry no offence, but not that bad,
ihated the hand gear,it located just like those MPV..duhhhh...how iwish it had manual =(
or change the location of it.

d. when itest drive ifound the stability and sound proof is somehow better tha Honda and other but lil underpower,
not tested Forte though, not intendin to gettin Forte, due to their previous product so far reputation ain't tht good
hope they maketh a breakthrough for this Forte.

e. It is Mazda !

so far icould think of this few reason why ibought em =)

SC Ipoh put my 2nd service at 10K km instead of 11K km. I dun thk the 1K km differ much, shud be fine. In fact i did the 2nd service at 10.7K km, almost 11K km. I am now at 18.7K km, soon will go for 3rd service.

Yup, really enjoy people's stare on the M2 brows.gif
