Yo guys,
some question to asked,
I do wonder why you guys get Mazda 2 instead all the car out there
sucha Peugeot 208,Honda City,Kia Forte Ford Fiesta and so on,

At 1st iplan to get M3, but due to frens pressure
and my both frens finance are not so good..so itag along wif them
mostly iwould drove this M2 for 3-5 years than gave em to my mum or sis
and get any new Mazda by that time.

SOrry for the tldr..it just something maketh me wonder and discuss.

As for me myself,

a. Peer pressure
b. zoom zoom, iprefer all those so called "no market value car"
eg Peugeot,Ford Citroen etc etc idaMn hated Honda (lotsa Beng showin off) and Proton ! That for sure.

c. ifound the exterior is kinda not that bad but somehow the interior not up to par, just so-so
feel very plastic and el cheapo alike, sorry no offence, but not that bad,
ihated the hand gear,it located just like those MPV..duhhhh...how iwish it had manual =(
or change the location of it.

d. when itest drive ifound the stability and sound proof is somehow better tha Honda and other but lil underpower,
not tested Forte though, not intendin to gettin Forte, due to their previous product so far reputation ain't tht good
hope they maketh a breakthrough for this Forte.

e. It is Mazda !

so far icould think of this few reason why ibought em =)

Hiya all I been read through from page 1 until the end....
were there still no solution regaridn the A/C issue
when I rev it will have some kind weird or burnin smell~
Gettin bored wif the smell everytime I rev the car~
so far my exp drive as slow as iCan it reach can't reach 400km ++ mostly it jusy scored 360-380KM.
been try few type of petrol, here my feedback, sorry imma not bashin any kind of petrol company out there~

Shell 95 : Most Fuel efficient among all of all,but pick up lil slow in comparison wif Caltex 95,
Mid and End Power is good enuf =) could reach 400 + lil km.
Shell 97 : Fuel goes like drinkin beer,iCould just reach 280+ to 300+km but is powerful for pick up,mid and end.

Caltex 95 : My Fayevourite.Had the power and pick up from start,Mid and End but fuel consumption lil high;300++km nearly 400km.
Caltex 97 : As goodin as Shell 97 as well, there goes my beer but iMuch more prefer Caltex 97 than Shell 97,it could reach 300++ wif my reving.

BHP 95 : Slow,no pick up here,underpower,but still consume high fuel 280++KM
BHP 97 : Slightly improvement, lil bit improvement compare wif the 95,the pick up,mid and end power just lil better,
fuel consumption somewhere around 300+KM

Esso 95 :Slightly better than BHP 95 the pick up,mid and end power lil powerful than BHP,iWonder??! Fuel efficiency lil better than BHP RON 95.
Esso 97: Better power and pick up in comparison with BHP the pick up mind and end,not very powerful..it just maintain somewhat neutral.

Sorry if IOffended anyone from my own personal review, thousand apologize.
luLz

My Nissan Sunny 130Y score better than this M2....sumore is manual...why we dun hv Manual for M2 cry.gif cry.gif

Hi, So far after 1 year of my driving M2 sedan, and now reaching 40K mileage... the furthest i can go for full tank was 460km (80% highway 20% normal road) thats is when i drive according to speed limit. I had used different petrol, same goes with u, i think shell is the best in power n mileage (usually used ron95). I had used fully synthetic oil every service, n used gas (nitrogen is it??) for my tyres. Maybe thats why i can go further???
*
On the 1st day when I got my M2,the 1st thing iDid is drive to my frens tyre shop,
change my rim to Lenso Superlighweight which weight less than 7kg
and usin Hankook V12, as for oil imma usin fully synthetic as well,my 16" Mazda Ori still well kept in my store..freakin brand new.
still lookin for buyer.

I don't trust Bermaz aftersale staff at all. I;m driving M3 for almost 2 yrs ( first batch) .Had complaint pedal vibration since week one . They keep saying that vibration is normal but only manage to work out something on it  , only after I insist it.

They keep changed the wrong part and right know , they ask me to wait for Japanese rep to come here to rectify my problem.

Right now , they not entertain my email and even my call on their hp not been return.

I will lodge a complaint to tuntutan tribunal and seeking  an opinion on how to face my problem with them

Seriously my 1 cent of opinion,go for Sedan for space,
the booth is much way spacious than you ever imagine.
iF ya wanna sell of ur M2 Hatchback after few years of ride iDoubt bout the market value for Mazda.
even for Sedan it was the same.
Why not go for more spacious,if Jiu prefer to l00k cool and awesome Hatchback is the way =)
now wif the promotion of Mazda 2 RS-Spec hatcback, more goodin included =)

Cuz majority of people who buy cars with this price range is looking for Auto transmission... so the manufacturer figures it's pointless to produce manual sad.gif

lower suspension? Rims? hmm.gif
*
Warranty VOID,cannot play play wif the suspension and wiring,
if not iAlready ICE me M2.The original sound is KILLIN me softly~ fffffuuuuuu daMn irritatin but no choices
and not lowered my suspension, although chg to 17" rim it still looks just like 16" due to the suspension kinda high.
Rim changin is goodin, that's what iDo in the 1st thing when iGet my M2 directly go change my Rims and
add on QMax Nano Fuel Saver and QMax Grounding cable and Voltage Stabilizer and lastly the next step tinting.
You can change HID bulb but dunnot play play wif the wirng again...except ur 3 years warrant is already over.
or jiu Dun give a daMn bout the warranty. Alot of thing can be upgrade here =)
BTW Japan,U.S had manual trans. M2...why they no gip M'sia M2 manual trans.cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif
