hi all....been a way for a while.
Just wanna check wif u guys. My mileage about to reach 10K km and i am wondering if the 2nd service is 10K km excluding the 1st 1K km or inclusive? When i did my 1st service they pasted the 2nd service and written the mileage as 11K km. When i look at the manual, it just say 10K km. And when i call the sales office, they say follow the service centre. Any advice guys? Added on December 12, 2010, 12:20 pmPart of the reasons why i got myself an M2 is that i do not want to burden myself with too many fixed expenses. No doubt M3 has better features but i find M2 is not too bad also compare to those of the same range. Not sure if you realised this, but i always notice people has that special stare on Mazda cars compare to its near rivals. QUOTE(Sampah @ Dec 12 2010, 12:11 PM) Yo guys, This post has been edited by gcheelim: Dec 12 2010, 12:20 PMsome question to asked, I do wonder why you guys get Mazda 2 instead all the car out there sucha Peugeot 208,Honda City,Kia Forte Ford Fiesta and so on, At 1st iplan to get M3, but due to frens pressure and my both frens finance are not so good..so itag along wif them mostly iwould drove this M2 for 3-5 years than gave em to my mum or sis and get any new Mazda by that time. SOrry for the tldr..it just something maketh me wonder and discuss. |

Thanks bro.
When i did my first servicing, the service centre guy did ask if i'd like to upgrade to a fully synthetic oil which i'll have to pay for the price differences. My 11K km should be up by this week. Will try to send for servicing this Saturday. Will check if there's any official arm rest from Bermaz. Added on December 12, 2010, 7:06 pm Mine is inclusive, 2nd service is 10k. As mashi mentioned, there's no issue +- 1k for the service, but I usually service mine around 9k intervals. Am due for 3rd service sometime next month, now at 17k mileage. [/quote] n |

The blinking with only the 'E' sign left is the final stage. I personally tried driving it for another 10km before pumping it again.
I presume most of us are using Ron 95. Has anyone tried to gauge the fuel efficiency using Ron 97? |

I'm afraid u'll have to pay your summon(s) in full from now till end Feb 2011 (if i remember correctly). After this, they will blacklist those motorist. |

Received a letter today from the sales office where i bought the car. They are offering me free service including change of oil for my non Mazda cars. Total value expected to be around RM418. The letter did not specify how many times the free service is valid though. One time perhaps?
Trying to be optimistic, happy that they still remember the old buyers and not only the current ones. |

Just to share with you guys.
I sent my car for polishing yesterday in a shop somewhere near my house. It was about 4pm then. All the while i've been wanting to get my car properly polished as i noticed a lot of tiny scratches on the car. When reached the shop, the guy asked me what type of polish i want. I just tell him i want to get rid of the scratches on the car. The guy suggested that i should take the 3 layer polish and it will cost me RM250 and that he uses good quality polish (showed me his accessories). I was quite reluctant at first since this is my first time to have my car polished. I told the guy i'll give it a try if he can lower the price to RM200. He later countered offer at RM210 which i agreed. He told me the whole process will take about 3 hours and he can sent me home first and later delivered the car to me. I agreed to it. About 3 hours later, he delivered the car to me. I must say i'm quite impressed with the work done. All the scratches disappeared and the car looked like brand new. I've attached some photos of my car after it being polished. FYI, my windows are tinted with Llumar film. It has been close to a year now and the film still remain intact. No signs of peeling off as of yet. Happy with it. Wanna consult you pros out there. i) Is RM200-RM250 the market price for 3 later car polish? ii) This guy is using Meguiars polishing accessories on my car. Is this a good brand? Thanks bro. At least i know i didn't kena 'potong'.
I agree that their car wash is good too. There were a couple of cars before me which really looked good after being washed. The guy suggested that i should wash my car once a week to remove the dirt and that i should wax it once every 3 months. Nowadays, it rain almost everyday. No mood to wash also. QUOTE(mashi74 @ Mar 14 2011, 01:31 PM) Yup, Mequiars is good. I used to send my car for polish with Meguiars as well. Even its car wash is good, u can feel the extraordinary smoothness of the body after the washing. And, I spent RM250 for car polishing with Meguiars.........and your sharing simply reminds me.....why am i so stupid never ask for discount, alamak |

This guy operates from Klang (Teluk Pulai area to be precise). If u seriously wants to give it a try, i can accompany you and get you the discounts. Not to say i'm close to the guy but i believe he can recognize my car. Not too many M2s around Klang as of yet. |

Hey bro~ how old is ur car ya? I heard that new car is not recommended to have polish job worr.. [/unquote] I got my car in June 2010 but i believe the car has been lying at the yard for close to a year. There was some delayed in getting my car primarily due to the waiting time in getting my preferred car number. Eventually i lost the tender but somehow managed to get my #2 choice. I checked with the servicing agent and he actually recommended that i should get my car polished at least 1 round by professionals to get an optimum result. I'm not really expert in this but am happy that my car now looks brand new again. ____________ I don't think the keys can be duplicated just like that. I ever checked with the SA many many times about this. They said it's pointless to duplicate the key as their HQ only recognize the codes in our main key. To replace a lost main key will probably cost a few hundred bucks. ps : I have a friend who recently paid RM1700 to get a replacement to his main key for his Mercs. |

Name : Shah Mobile : 0176599801 Location : Taman Melawis Klang, next to ACS school along Jalan Raya Barat I can help to guide you to the place if you have an interest to try it out. Hope this info helps. |
