QUOTE(MYstombox @ Sep 12 2010, 02:37 PM) It's fed to you if you want it to, but it won't appear at the notification bar. It'll appear at the widget. Another thing, from what i understand, the fb notifications are being pulled into the phone through specific time intervals instead of being pushed right? |

I'm thinking. To root or not to root. I want to root because there are some application I want to use requires root. Even time synchronization need root.
I kinda confirmed that the recovery/download mode is disabled. Symptoms are exactly as mentioned in xda-developers. |

QUOTE(naimadam @ Sep 12 2010, 08:39 PM) it seem to disappear from my Samsung app after i flash custom firmware on mine. Before OCLF, Facebook for Samsung was a good alternative since it was lagging when you swype in Android Facebook. But I no longer experienced that after lag fix. So now, Android version seems better due to the sharing embedded (you can chose pictures then share without going into FB first) and you can Like items.i never use Facebook for Samsung before. |

I installed both Facebook. The Facebook S (Facebook for Samsung) has a little more features like publishing location etc.

Did Voodoo Lagfix beta 2(rooted phone),without any issue, instruction was very straight forward.
Quadrant shows 1.7k now instead of insane 2k score. The lag faced when installing an app can still be felt but very minimal compared to OCLF. also notice GPS is can lock on much faster too |

QUOTE(mahad13 @ Sep 12 2010, 09:30 AM) Nope.. you don't need Clockworkmod Recovery for that. What you need just Root and Terminal Emulator. There are tons of way to remove the battstats.bin, I just use the more common way since I think almost everyone got Clockworkmod installed... and I think the real way should be charging the phone to full while it's ON first... Source: xdaThe steps I've taken:- 1) Using Terminal Emulator, remove the /data/system/batterystats.bin 2) Turn off the phone and charge till full (the battery symbol fully green) 3) Turn on the phone and charge till 100% full. And yes, the result is good. I still have half of battery after 1 and 1/2 day usage include about 45 minutes Papago GPS and normal network, facebook and game. |
