Google and yahoo based on their apps, not true push, but u can regular updates AFIAK.

sorry for the noob question..
 My SGS still stock firmware, never flash, just rooted. I connect my phone to PC and run Kies, it show new firmware ready to update. My question:- 1) Is this official firmware? 2) safe to update? 3) My data all wipe? If update the firmware 4) Any benefit after update to this firmware? 5) This is not Froyo 2.2 firmware right? 2) Yes 3) Backup to be safe, because it's likely you will end up wiping to obtain full usability 4) Depends on what firmware version it happens to be 5) Give us the version number |

V4...Congrats..question to all sifus.
i jus root my galaxy. firmware stock. JF4. OCLF installed. Sadly my benchmark only reach 700+ for 1st attempt & 800+ for 2nd attempt...basically is like same as stock galaxy benchmark...Something went wrong? |

T_T i noticed its increasing slowly..3rd attempt reach near 900...haha...if i flash to other firmware. do i still need to root again? which version firmware better? JM6?

About the Titanium Backup...
Because I planing to update firmware.. but before start my update i want to backup... But i don't know how to use Titanium backup... Once I click update/Restore tab, then click menu button, then click batch.. after that, Should I choose "Backup all user apps" or "Backup all system data" or back up both? what is the different? please advise.. Thank you! |

How do you control your notifications on the SGS? is there a notification menu in the settings like in the iphone?
