sorry for the noob question.. blush.gif

My SGS still stock firmware, never flash, just rooted.
I connect my phone to PC and run Kies, it show new firmware ready to update.
My question:-

1) Is this official firmware?
2) safe to update?
3) My data all wipe? If update the firmware
4) Any benefit after update to this firmware?
5) This is not Froyo 2.2 firmware right?

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Backup to be safe, because it's likely you will end up wiping to obtain full usability
4) Depends on what firmware version it happens to be
5) Give us the version number

About the Titanium Backup...

Because I planing to update firmware.. but before start my update i want to backup...
But i don't know how to use Titanium backup...

Once I click update/Restore tab, then click menu button, then click batch..

after that, Should I choose "Backup all user apps" or "Backup all system data" or back up both?

what is the different? please advise.. Thank you!
