im not worry much about the penalty. compares to unifi package still relatively cheap. says u had used for 1 1/2 years and want to terminate, penalty half years 6 x 118 = rm 708, but, unifi 10mbps (Rm 198) vs maxis 10 (RM 118) mbps saving = rm80 x 18 = rm 1440

so, wat u say?

btw, although maxis penalty seems not friendly, but if u r moving  to a new area with no MHF coverage, ur penalty will be waived.

same like telekom - for klang valley - 8 digits. i heard maxis still got a lot nice number. waiting there call now. prefer X282828X, haha

good info, i will check with the installer tis week and learn how they do. like a magnet since i took leave for this. haha. see if they got any idea how to hijack the 20mbps or 30mbps. hopes no maxis staff seeing this post. This noob idea come from the avenger movie which the iron man use some kind of device tapped the main internet server cable underneath the sea.

This offer until when? I might want to switch over my special offer Unifi 20mbps for rm200 to this special offer.

I recently used /Slowmyx/ and upgrading to this..
I hope the technicians will call and come to install ASAP..
The people told me that it may take up to 1 month or more since they have lots of customers and less technicians..
I never used Unifi before so how long do you think the installation will take for double storey house?

Maxis said free installation until further notice.. did the technicians ask for payment? I hope the cables don't have to be extended since if wanna extend more than 15metre must pay extra.

the demand is so high now and not enough technician to handle.

I applied on the second day of promo and got installed a week later.

I am a Maxis HOME user for past 8 month. I am really happy with their service. Speed is always stable and no disconnection. Customer Service is also gud & fast.

I am currently on 4Mbps plan, paying RM128 per month. I had to complete 12 months then I cud move to this new 10Mbps cheaper plan....so.. waiting for that

Yup.. Hope the promotion stays for next 4 months....

When Home Fiber sales dept calling you they should email to you the leaflet, application form & acknoledgement form.

Installed mine yesterday. Speed quite good, always above 9Mbs all the time. Very stable so far.

How to check if our application is in their Maxis system ?

You registered online? If so they should give you registration form because online we just provide contact no. and email only. Maxis guy asked to conform my email add and sent me the form within 5 minutes. I asked him how long will it takes for them to install it. he said depend on queue on our area.

Maxis Home Fibre team just called to inform of my installation date (late July 2012) & fixed line number. My area : Puchong

not politics alone.. bottomline is tm monopolized the fiber infra

any offer too good to be true. will surely has it's catch. we do not see now. probably will be later on the road when you use their services.
