One is Android, One is WP7. Cant really compare, each platform will have its own supporters sayings what's better than the other.

the missing functions of this device are actually quite irritating and disappointing, for example we can't send our contact through sms right, or maybe there is a way that i didn't find out...same basic functions like i mentioned no custom ringtone and the volume which even a normal phone can make it...i can't comment much about the apps coz it's a new os, i believe there will be more apps developed as time goes by...what i am trying to say is, this device doesn't worth it's price, i won't make any complaints if it was cheaper... if you were to spend this much i'd suggest you to go for iphone4 which is actually slightly cheaper and much better...but nothing i can do though, since i've bought it, i'll expect something impressive on the upgrade next year...

Wait a bit more for January 2011 for the first major WP7 update. I am hoping for significant updates to address the missing features

although some of the important feature are not there i bet we all still happy rite? M$ is BIG BOSS so nothing to worry bout the update i believe.
and yes, HD7 audio is really soft just like Diamond 1st gen, you wont be able to hear any call if in the crowd area, hope the massive update can improve this audio level. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif even the capalang brand can ring louder than HD7. sweat.gif

I think the problem about ringing being soft is because the tones themselves are too soft and not the speaker.

im not so sure about that, because i did sync 1 of avi video using Zune to HD7 and the other avi video on my HD2 but both playback with different audio level , HD2 max volume became cracking while HD7 max 30 still soft. rclxub.gif rclxub.gif ??

maybe i should try the custom ringtone things to see hows its goes.

Well. I guess depends on the speaker. On my LG if I played Rocket Riot at max volume it rocks the room. And... at full volume when I use the keyboard in the throne room... the echo hurts my ears. tongue.gif

i have to agree with you guys regarding the hd7 speaker... it's very tiny sounding... i can barely hear the phone in my pocket most of the time. this is a problem exclusive to the hd7 / htc and not the OS i believe. the nexus one also has a very weak speaker
