The big screen make me want to buy it

Yeah, the screen is pretty damned big, hahaha. At first I was tempted too, and that kickstand... really sweet touch. But when I found out that one of the front facing "speaker" is just a piece of decoration, and that it runs on SD card, and it took about 4-5 seconds to open the HTC Hub (compared to the less than 1 sec loading of Optimus 7), I decided that performance is more important, since Xbox Live games will definitely take longer to load. And with Mango doing all that additional stuffs... NAND flash is a must.

hi just wanna to ask why suddenly the htc hd7 become very cheap...as i saw on maxis it show retail price of rm2300+...but with data plan i can get it for rm999... lurking on lelong it show that the price list only rm 1199.00..is it because the device got some problem? or it has been long time release... appreciate ur info
Yeah, the demand for WP7 phones is pretty low, mainly because ipon and android receive all the hype, and m'sian users are dumb users anyway, so they'd rather be hopping on the dumbness bandwagon. Coupled with the previous experience of the level of difficulty with Windows Mobile, they're like OMG ipon so easy to use!! Androids so gooding!! Elsewhere in the world, more and more people are picking up WP7. But it's still pretty rare to see one in the wild.
I think the if Maxis is really offering RM999, depending on your data plan, it's may be a pretty good deal, because you really
need that data plan to make your WP7 useful, even without being able to do tethering.
