i still confuse, why in book just mention to service next 20k after 10k service, does that mean we need to service every 5k, but at service book not mention it,
some one pls give me clear about this as my 10k service just around corner now
*
Hi, yes we need to service every 5K at proton service centre, the booklet only printed the 10,20k,30k for major service. and for the 15k,25,35k... it will be chopped at the back of the page(confirmed by the person that attend my car service at sec13). any outside service will void warranty.

even fully, we need to change every 5k becuz proton oil filter oni last 5km. so it isn't worth to use fully in proton while the warranty still valid

*
whole car warranty will be voided. need to check back the T&C for more specific details

Hi, i'm thinking to put a layer of dark tint(8 to 10 inches) on the windscreen because the steering part is exposed to the sun light and i feel heat on my hand while driving under the sun. but in another hand i like the full view of the windscreen, i can see tall building sign easily(when looking/searching for landmarks), so i'm in doubt what sizes of the layer is suitable? my friend recommended me 10 inches.

what's yours?

Second thing, my car aircond started to have smell when first turn on the aircond.. (my car just 5K mileage), does it mean it's time to change aircond filter?

if i'm not mistaken you only allowed to have 7" right?
*
Hmm if it's only 7' allowed, does it enough to cover the steering part so the it doesn't exposed to the sun light?

ya... i also wonder do your windscreen have any tint at all... even my lousy tint IRR68% also i dont feel tat hot...can still grab it right away and drive off....
i think the sun visor (black tint) serve more to filter away the harsh sunlight like said... (VLT doesnt exactly correlate directly to IRR)

QUOTE
is ur windscreen having a good tint ? that's the first question  if it does , ur hands won't feel hot cause the tint will reflect heat away even without the 7' ..
if merely putting the 7' black tint without a good tint , it just help to reflect a little heat and decreased harsh sunlight from blinding u when u drive .
I have mine tinted with a IRR80++ for the windscreen and a 7' black tint , my hand's felt nothing hot

yes, my windscreen is tinted with good reputable tint (VLT=63% UVR=99% IRR=95%)

both of you used real dark 7' black tint?

so we need to turn it on the inner circulation before leaving the car everytime? wheres the inner circulation adjuster?
*
yes normally we turn in on all the time. Why did I turn it off because the air cond is too cold in the early morning while i'm waiting the car park to open.

Why don't I turn off the engine? Then it will be too warm
Why don't I wind down the window? It is very dark in the morning, and i do not feel safe.
Why don't I adjust the air cond ventilation direction? Already adjusted, but still cold..

i feel Caltex really quiet good...
same with Petronas

Agree, despite I have not try other petrol yet but Caltex really give good accelerate response when I need it. Petronas, slow response and sluggish after response.

I will try other brand after this.

conclusion ...which petrol suit with our PE the best?

V power shell totally out

How about petronas?
BP?
Esso?
Caltex? what else? i think is petronas... for performance.. ron97 although slightly expensive.. heard ron95 not good for our engine... is it a truth ?

Hi, there has been many questions of asking which petrol is good for their car, and always the feedback are varies due to different driving styles. Hence the only way to know which petrol suit your car is by keeping track your own car fuel consumption.
