Better still if that turbo unit can be plug n play into our CPS. brows.gif

Yeah.. But it not BOT type one.. It already turbo engine... How powerful it is not know yet..

QUOTE(mrl @ Aug 30 2010, 09:47 AM)
you got to be kidding me, Persona gonna get Turbo??? I thought it's going to be in Exora first???
*
Don't know... This totally new engine, need different engine bay,,

QUOTE(sphiroth @ Aug 30 2010, 09:52 AM)
IMO, most probably Exora will get it 1st. One problem with Turbo is that 'some owner' (brows.gif) will try to squeezed up more power and when things went wrong, they will claimed for warranty. So Proton needs some method to track these 'mods'. Wait, maybe thats one of the things the new 32-bit ecu can do (data logging). hmm.gif

Its hard to conform to EURO4 standard with high revving engine, thus 1.6 with 125hp are already considered high. Most 1.6 is in 110hp region.

Honda will have a hard time especially with the new EURO5 standard because they don't have turbo engine. Most EURO4 engine usually have small displacement but complement it with turbo.

QUOTE(mrl @ Aug 30 2010, 09:46 AM)
first of all, since your budget is nearer to 50k, dont bother to stretch another ~10k for Gen2 CPS... too much... unless u got a lot of extra money and willing (and capable) to stretch your budget after all...

as for the IAFM and CPS difference, IAFM is Campro basic + new intake module fixing the torque dip... that's all... while CPS it got variable valve lift boosting the performance another 15hp...

problems, engine wise (CPS, i dont know IAFM) so far no problem with mine though it only aged 1year and 4 month... other parts problem... a few, but nothing serious... the worse is the splash shield issue at high speed... Performance, more than what I expected from a Proton especially the handling...  thumbup.gif

FC wise, since my right foot is pretty much welded to the floor, people will see my car's FC is off the roof. but at one time of my test, CPS with RON97 Primax3 manage to get 5.5L/100km on 100% highway maintained at ~3100RPM @ 110km/h with cruise control... the worst could be 20sen/km (old pricing of RON95 @ RM1.80/L)

I dont drive IAFM so I dont know anything about it other than a little bit technical stuff.

haha kk thanks... need to research somemore la, cause if gen2 has less problems than persona, might as well pay abit more, better in the long run... cause i search the car problem, thread... persona like quite abit of problems (ECU thing)

Is it the ones found in shopping complex car parks?

If it is, I dun really like it coz the final wax that they apply after everything doesn't dry which will result in an even dirtier engine bay after a week or 2 of driving..

I wana recommend Q Bistro @ Tesco Mutiara for buka puasa TT, the portion there is huge, price quite ok for nasi briyani~ thumbup.gif

To Azuma & Kobe, sorry for the late reply.. just come back from bazar ramadhan..

I think they have many outlet in malaysia..usually spot like Jvipers said its under car park. Last time i saw it at ampang point underground car park. Mine done at Jusco tebrau.

But Bro Jvipers i don't know about the wax could collect more dust but i will look for it & inform u guys back. But the service a bit 'lembab' la. Car wash + clean engine bay took about 2.5 hours. But i can understand coz today there a lot car. Luckily i go shopping wif wife so i dont wasting time waiting.
