OoOoO...maybe depends on the branch workmanship & skill worker. Last week my mum send her car go for lacquer, polish & wax at car international's. So far really satisfied with the work done by them. Here are the pic..sorry if the pic not clear as i snap with my Hp cam.

My mum join members with them for 1 year + 3 step polish = rm480. But i took liberty to add another rm120 for second car (my cps). So total rm550.

Next time when we want to go polish + wax just pay rm68 with in 1 year membership, no matter how many time. For me ok la good bargain..

But he product they use still cannot match with meguair's product. Still meguair's still the best i've seen.

i service my car every 5k.... so every service i also do balancing and alignment... so just tell them to switch front to back and back to front lor. cant do the X rotation coz my tires are directional and have to remove the tires from the rims...
35k km?? then y still go to proton? how long u need to service in proton in order to be eligible or maintain the warranty?

if it were me...once warranty terms are met... i wouldnt bother anymore with service centres man....expensive, waste of time coz they take fuggin forever, not many will allow u to use ur own products.. and their product choices are extremely limited...

Well, the car does come with a 5 year warranty.. sweat.gif

Yeah, most probably.. But already phobia, coz when I did mine, it was RM200 and the job sucks and I read many reviews of that place with the same result.. So, I'm not taking the chance @ KL.. tongue.gif

but u dont need to be servicing there for the entire 5 years mah right?

iirc as long as all ur first 1k or 10k service is done in SC then ur warranty should be valid...

It happened to my Kelisa when I sent it to their outlet @ Jusco Maluri, also their polish and wax sucks! Got patches where there are still swirl marks!  doh.gif
So, I have decided not to patronize them..  tongue.gif
Nope, it's Q Bistro. Looks kinda new, at the side where u can go to The Curve frm Tesco..
Hahahahahha.. I tried to get CoE to rotate my tires, they tell me..the P.I.C. for tyre is unavailable...
Have been trying to since I got my car..now @ 35,000KM already~  sweat.gif
*
Change SC man.... How come till 35000km no tyre p.i.c???

I serviced my car every 5k too. But my regular SC dont do balancing and alignment, so have to do outside.

Unfortunately not. In order to maintain warranty you need to go proton for servicing. Once you go outside and the book is not stamped, warranty is void.

For me, the labour charge is quite reasonable. Got aircond waiting room + wifi + clean toilet. They also use blanket to cover the seats, and fenders to avoid scratch when they working on the engine.

The SC that I used to also allowed me to stand beside my car while they do their work.

For engine oil, as long as they got the brand I want, no problem. Expensive a bit but because of the 'flood' of imitation/fake engine oil nowadays, it better to be safe than sorry.

If that's the case, then not a problem.
But if everything is like cincai, susah la.
Even though the sc i used to go is good, but quiet cramp, no waiting room, have to go to mamak sweat.gif
Only use Petronas engine oil.
Last time got 1 sc in Jalan Cheras, in front of Balai Polis Pudu, scratch my door. Ban that sc since that day.

I agree with what sphiroth said... most SC give aircond waiting room, able to stand by the side of my car, and got the brand that I want (Shell) or maybe allow me to bring my own oil...

when I compare one SC in Terengganu, the labour is cheaper by the dozens... pretty much like outside workshop... but that SC dont have aircond, wifi; heck, dont even have waiting room... just like normal workshop...

so, i guess concerning the labour charge I dont really make a fuss though it is kinda expensive but you get what you pay... SC that dont have waiting room will charge less... SC that have all the facilities, will charge more...

so far, I havent encounter any problem regarding customer's car care within the SCs that I go whether in Terengganu, Kuantan or Gombak... they all use blanket to cover fenders and seats...

though some people might not use all those fancy facilities so they think not really worth it to pay that amount...
