yup international students won't be affected though do expect them to increase the price a bit since they will be needing more money if the government lower their subsidies.

it's normal for fees to increase bit by bit every year.

en suit means you have your own bathroom/shower.

kitchen usually shared.

studio ensuit on the other hand im not entirely sure. it does suggests that you might have a kitchen to your self.. but the word studio would also suggests that it walls would be lacking in the appartment... like you can see your kitchen from your bed if you have 1...

En suite means you have your own bathroom. Studio ensuite usually means that there's only one room with the bed kitchen and bathroom all in one space instead of being segmented. What you probably want is a single en-suite. smile.gif

Also regarding the heater; it's depending on the structure of the building. If it's old and the type where you need to turn the dial counter-clockwise to release the water into your heater, that's the central controlled one. New private accomodations usually ran by single unit of electronic heater where you can determine the temperature and the duration yourself. For the formal one, mind you when it gets to peak period when usually everyone turns it open, you'll find it very mild warm to the range of no heat because it's distributed amongst everyone else.

owh hi

UoG. Doin my final year deg over here.

Studies, 7 out my 8 subjects don't have exam. 100% accessment based. It will be super heavy if you have bad time management. Lecturers are very helpful. Just need to bare with the accent a bit, and of course you will be feeling a bit out of place, since all the examples are using uk or europe companies or issues. Kinda blur even until now hahah.

Roughly i will say, nothing bad about uni. Just it wont be that good if youre party monster ! biggrin.gif

heating is very expensive there, especially in winter...........generally, places where utilities are included, the heating will be centrally conrolled.....

if you stay in whole leased units with others, then you will have to pay for the utilities , and be prepared for big heating bills in spring.....(the bills come 3 monthly in the past, don't know about now).........

Thanks for your reply. You are taking Bachelors degree in what?

No exams? Damn lucky-lar. But then, you got to do your assignments well, right? That's where you learn.

yeap, im taking bachelors degree of tourism smile.gif

roughly the same for hospitality, tourism, and events. Mainly accessment based.

Yeah, not so easy when there's 7-8 assignments (roughly 50% of total mark per assignment) in a kinda short sem. :/

you're planning to study degree or masters? I have friend who studying masters as well if u need any info.

1. I plan to take Masters. How is their accounting programme specifically and business school generally?

2. I like to know more about "Pre-masters". I think this is something we donot have in Malaysia. Can you explain what is "Pre-masters" comapred to "Bachelor's top-up?

3. Is it true that the UoG about to be bankrupt? There was a report in the inetrnet saying that their financial health si not so good but of course, the uni denies it. As an insider, what do you think?
