Hei people, just wanna ask which bank should I open in UK (specifically london). Most people would recommend HSBC (the ease of setting up) but i'm not really gonna deposit a lot of money inside since i'm a sponsored student and they deduct about 4 pounds a month, just want to ask any of your opinions see which would be better, if you guys have any.

Oh yeah, we gotta pay a deposit of about 1000 pound for setting up an account right/

Ahaha, you're from UCL.

I read Natwest's T&C multiple times. Link.
No, don't think you need a minimum amount of money to open a bank a/c.

the advantage blue account is not an account of it own. it's an add-on service.
personally i don't know whether it's worthwhile or not. but yeah, it's not an account of its own.

you should be allowed through with a backpack (notebook) and a carry-on.......airlines are normally not that fussy about a notebook in a carry bag, be it the normal bag, of a backpack.......

If it is installed into the computer, they don't check.

But if you want to bring a pirated software in CD disc, then you better don't.

According to VFS, BHC uses OANDA as a currency guide.

If your friend doesn't mind, just give VFS his/her CIMB passbook. Save the trouble of getting the bank letter. There are strict regulations how the letter should be written.
