i know it can get even higher frequency but for ur information this Abit motherboard is not as good as the biostar one ... when running extreme FSB after few hour i use i will freeze screen or hang .. so i decided to just hang it at 4.4ghz as this is my everyday PC. i dun hope that my e8400 die so soon.

LOL....I used IP35 Pro and i been to 540FSB or so which would sill at least translate into like 4.86ghz smile.gif

Hi, I'm new in overclock..i need help in overclock my PC..
Currently my PC spec is :
Intel Core 2 Duo 7400
Gigagabyte GA-G31M-ES2L
Kingston DDR2 800 2GB
PSU is come together with Powerlogic casing..450 watts and 220 watts real power.. smile.gif

i hope i can overclock until 3.5ghz..because i know my PSU and mobo is not very good for overclocking sad.gif
this is the BIOS screenshot..please guide me what to change.. smile.gif

u should learn from start,googled it

enable 'CPU host clock control'

from 266 increase little by little, let say up 10...save and restart
repeat until you can't boot into windows

hahaha im noob act like a pro whistling.gif

vcore @ 1.525v - LLC on. temp - idle around 45c and load around 7+c. all temp through coretemp.

here's screeny for occt 1hour stable.

however due to extreme heat this days, i am running with push-pull for the rad. 3san ace + 2 silverstone fm 121 + 1 tuniq 120 fan.

hahah.. still haven't finalize the settings.. just play with it for 30minutes.. it is running with single core..

my 24/7 setting.

3.612GHz @ 1.375v. the lowest vcore i can get.huhu. sweat.gif VID 1.25v.
